Tomoe POV
" Tomoe ? Let's go in OK?" I heard the mere human call Out to me.
Silence
I jumped up outraged " Fox fire find (Y/N)" I went back inside shaming myself for what I did.
10 minutes past and my fox fire came back. They told me the location of her and that stupid tengu. I ran outside leaving Nanami with the spirits. I was determined to get my love back.

I got there and knocked on the tengu's door. It opened minutes later I saw (Y/N)'s (E/C) orbs had redden from the last time I saw her. She and I stood there in silence staring at each other until she slammed the door in my face. A tick appeared on my head I was very annoyed.
" I love you (Y/N) " I whimpered like a lost puppy. The door opened and my eyes lit up and then they dulled down as soon as I saw who opened up the door.
" She doesn't want to see you at the minute Tomoe you've caused her enough pain already just leave it"
I sighed knowing the tengu's was right.
" Just tell her I'm awfully sorry and that she should come to the shrine again not for me but for Nanami's sake"
With that I walked off.

I sighed at his talk. He wants me back but he wants to keep his reputation so he blames it on everyone else.
" He won't be back for a while" Kurama kissed my forehead and smelled my scent.
" I'm sorry Kurama" I sighed again.
" what do you mean?" He looked confused.
" I know you love me and yes I did have feelings but that was when you left me for your career, when you left me for those puny humans."
He sighed and sat beside me. " Look (Y/N/N) I do love you but not in the way you think. I admit I did love you but to be honest I have been growing feelings towards a puny human god" he scratched his neck.
My face turned blank and I walked out.

I sat on the bench in the freezing cold although I'm a yokai as I'm in my weak state I still feel the cold against my cheeks.
Again I'm all alone. That was until I saw a familiar figure walk my way. Tomoe sat beside me and sighed. He put his hands on his head and bent down. Of course I used my invisibility powers (my leaf).
" what have I done" he muttered.

An old man stood beside him.
" now now son tell me about this special thing"
" she, I was going out with someone else at the time and I used her to get what I wanted. After I got it I ran like a coward. Then my first love died I was miserable she was a hu- she was very ill and only then I realised the second girl was the one I truly loved. I finally found her and didn't realise it then she went"
" argh cheating is the worst. You should tell her what you told me I'm sure she'll understand" With that he walked away leaving us two alone again. He stood up and I grabbed his hand by instinct.
" Baka" I scolded myself out loud.
" (Y/N)?" He questioned.
" hi" I murmured. He instantly engulfed me in a death hug.
" you're freezing" he murmured letting his hot breath enter my ear.
" you're warm" I squeezed abit tighter.
" wait-" he let go of me apart from my hands. He held onto them. "- you heard all of that?" He cheeks turned red slightly. I nodded.
He offered me his arm and I hesitatingly took it. We walked back to the shrine.
" Where's the stupid tengu?" His voice became annoyed.
" At home, I got annoyed when he said his feelings were growing for that puny human god"
He stopped dead in his tracks. " you shouldn't talk like that about our lady and mistress"
"Humph you like her too now?" My eyebrow rose with curiosity.
" yes-" he carried on walking "- but I love you"
I kissed his cheek and made his cheeks red. We messed around like a new happy young couple until we got to the shrine.
Our laughs were interrupted by Nanami's voice.
" where were you two?"
" just out" Tomoe turned to his cold self.
I sighed  " ignore him Nanami he can be a Baka when he wants to"
She smiled at me until lightening hit.
Nanami screamed. " it's the god of thunder in the heavens she's probably mad and abusing her shrine spirits again"
I thought nothing more of it until she appeared at the door with s familiar hammer. " TOMOE " I screamed and instantly he came running in.
" oh Tomoe" she purred.
" stop it" Nanami shouted.
The god turned to her " puny human" she walked over to get the mark that was until I pushed her away.
" ah (Y/N) you would also do great things when you're my familiar" she carried on trying to take the mark. I kept pushing her away. " Tomoe get Nanami out of her" he nodded and started walking with her until there was a poof of smoke and my eye view suddenly was lower than usual.
" how dare you!" I screamed in my squeaky voice. She was about to grab me until Tomoe grabbed me and ran. We got outside and Tomoe collapsed on his knees. " I couldn't even protect my love" he whimpered.
" Tomoe it's ok" I stood next to him and patted his head.
He looked up and his cheeks went red. "you're so cute". I giggled until I collapsed.
