"Where are we going?" I asked, looking around the unrecognizable, little town. It looked old, menacing and abandoned, despite the fact of children and adults walking down the streets. Maybe it was because everyone left this town. No car nor person went into this town, except for the brat and I. It made me quite uncomfortable.

"You'll see," he said in a low, soft voice. It made me look up at him and wonder if he was trying to seduce me, if he was a male hooker for a living or anything like that. I did not feel as comfortable as before anymore, whether it was because he suddenly acted like this, or because of the town. Either way, I felt uncomfortable.

I took a few deep breaths and looked forward again. This definitely was not a good place to be going on a date. This was a place to get killed, assassinated, tortured.
I can defend myself, luckily. If he did turn out to be a vicious psycho, murdering and torturing people, I could always try to beat him up, or at least run away. Or both.

"Hello? Levi?" I heard the brat say. How did he know my name? I never told him.. Did he pickpocket me? Stalk me?

"How do you know my name?" I asked in a low, cold voice, slowly adverting my gaze up and meeting his. I didn't look away this time, nor did I plan on getting lost in them again. I tried glaring, crossing my arms and refusing to place one more step alongside him.
He sighed in slight frustration and stood before me, "Hanji. Hanji Zoe."

Surprise surprise. Of course it was her, she would do anything to fuck up my free time.

"Listen, don't think about it too much and let's just have a good time okay?" He suggested and inched closer to me, slowly placing his hands on my shoulders and gently grazing them down my chest and sides before softly holding me by my waist.
It sent shivers down my spine, letting me relax from every tension in my body. I automatically placed my hands on his wrists and glared a little as I slowly pushed them away, "don't do that.." I said.

He kept staring at me and opened his mouth to say something, right when his phone rang. He looked at the screen and wanted to decline the call, but I didn't let him.
"Take it. I'm leaving anyways," I said and turned around to walk off, slowly picking up pace.

Once out of tow , I looked around to see if he followed me. He luckily didn't.
I sat down on a bench, sliding my fingertips through my now slightly wet hair. I looked up at the sky and now noticed it was starting to rain. But for once, I didn't mind.
I wanted to stay in the rain, contemplate this very day, and how I ended up here.

And so I did. I stayed on that very bench for the rest of the day, standing up around midnight to return home. Problem was, I didn't know where I was. There were no signs anywhere and I so happened to be in the most inconvenient spot, because there were no houses around. I sighed in defeat, not wanting to go back to that damn town. I sat back down on the bench, took out my phone and scrolled through my contacts.

I decided to call the one person that could help me in this situation. One of my best friends.

I asked him to pick me up, to which he luckily said yes.
I couldn't text him the exact place, but I could remember where I came from. So I just waited at the bench.

It was still raining, too. I was freezing and breathed heavily in slight anxiousness due to the isolation. There literally was only one lantern lighting up the road and bench, on which I sat.
I started to stare at the puddles, the light reflecting creating a beautiful effect.

Right after that, everything went blank.

---

I woke up, groaning at a pounding headache.
I kept my eyes closed as I didn't feel good and tried to grip onto the bench, only to feel sheets.
I now opened my eyes to look where I was. I had to adjust my eyes to the disturbing light and looked around the room.

It was a white room, with no furniture besides the white bed on which I sat.

I felt confused, sick and exhausted.
I tried to get up, walk around. I managed to, but couldn't walk properly. I was stumbling around the room.
I sighed and walked to the door, trying to open it, but it was locked. I tried a few more times to pull it off its hinges or to push it off. It eventually worked.

I peeked outside and saw a long, white corridor. I frowned and decided to walk down it to the big doors.

Once I stood before them, I reached to open them. I froze when I suddenly heard a voice behind me.

"Levi, it's nice seeing you again."
