The raven man leant forward so that his face was only inches away. Ciel's cerulean blue eyes widened as he felt his words arrested and jailed in his throat.

"I'm here for an interview, Young Lord." The man uttered with a smirk.

It took Ciel a moment to break free from the spell he was under, and when he did he cleared his throat hastily, and spoke promptly:

"I'm afraid you have made a mistake, I was not informed of such an arrangement." Ciel objected, he made note of faint approaching footsteps.

"Ah, Mr Michaelis, thank you for arriving on such a short notice." A cordial voice spoke from behind.

Ciel's head naturally shot back so that he could discover who was behind all of this (even though he had his suspicions). The mature butler Tanaka stood and smiled tenderly, his eyes landed on the young boy. Ciel nodded and understood the situation, Tanaka had arranged an interview with a candidate in order to speed up the process of replacement that Ciel has been procrastinating about.

"What a bother." Ciel muttered under his breath.

The boy sighed and ran his hand through his dusky blue hair, before indicating the way to his office. While promenading back down the corridor Ciel inspected the change of weather, not too long ago there was a violent downpour paired with dominant wind, however traces of the event seemed to have perished and the atmosphere became serene.

Upon reaching their destination, Ciel gestured to the client seat and positioned himself behind the desk. The man elegantly lowered himself onto the overpriced chair before handing over his papers. Ciel reached out and made contact with the man's hand, his fingers lingered for a moment before fleetly bringing the papers to his face in order to conceal his slight redness.

"Sebastian Michaelis?" Ciel inquired, he glanced to the side of the paper looking at the expression on Sebastian's face.

The papers were completely flawless, he had countless references from all sorts of places, not to mention the amount of skills and evidence. With papers like this he could surely aim for a much more exceptional career. So why is he settling for a butler?

"May i ask, do you have any experience with working as a butler?" Ciel spoke tactfully.

"No, but i have worked with capricious children. Which I'm sure you are aware off, seeing as you have read the references and statements." Sebastian answered swiftly with a smile spread across his features.

Ciel frowned his eyebrows at the implicit insult, the clearly amused man maintained full eye contact. His piercing ruby eyes made Ciel shift a little in his chair. He finished reading the reviews and stood up from his costly chair.

"I will have Tanaka take you in for training, once you have completed the course you will serve as my devoted butler." Ciel spoke ceremoniously.

Sebastian also stood up from his chair, gave Ciel a tender smile before bowing delicately and projecting the words:

"Yes my lord."

A shiver traveled harshly up Ciel's back as the words echoed throughout the colossal room.
