It was a while after Clawhauser had come up with me to see the sunrise. I know this because I fell asleep and was woken up by the oldest pup in my den, Nighthowler. Little fact about him, he can be a softie, if you get on his good side. Bad side, you don't want to know. I'm just lucky he loves me and I'm his favorite in the den.
"What is my favorite little sis doing out here all alone?" He asked me in a cheerful voice that almost made me wince.
"Well I was watching the sunrise with Clawhauser, but it looks like I fell asleep and he left me here." I say in a bitter tone.
"Actually, when I saw him coming down when I was coming up just now. He told me he was going to get some food for you." He said and tilted his head to the left.
"Oh... he did?"
"Yeah, he probably cares about you the most, besides Raven." Raven is the second youngest. He was born a couple seconds before me. We watch each other's backs and stick together like glue. He is the only one that gets me. Nighthowler was talking, but I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear what he was saying. "You got all that Meena?"
"No, can you explain it to me one more time so I can understand it better?" I asked in the sweetest voice I could muster.
"...Of course! Glad to know that my little sister wants to go over some things! So here is what we are going to do after you eat today...Time Skip: because I don't know what Nighthowler would say. (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
I walk down a path my previous wolf leaders had created for the pack to use later on. I overhear some voices as we come back from a hunt.
"Man, I'm so tired!"
"I was so close to biting of that rabbit's head! I just know it!"
"Hey guys, what did that runt do in all this?"
"Who? Oh, you mean Meena, she just sat there today. Couldn't think of how to trap more of us I guess!"
"Hah! So true!" The bunch of wolves then howled in laughter. (AN: if I were in this story, I would punch these wolves for being so mean. That is what I get for writing it.(≖︿≖✿)) I stop walking and soon I'm way far behind the group I was in. Raven comes bounding up to me in a cheerful smile. He is the only one that can really do that to me.
"Hey sis! What's up?"
"Nothing, I will regroup with the group after a walk through the meadow. I really want to be alone right now."
Raven's ears and smile droop down. "Are you sure? Do you want me go with you just in case something goes wrong?" I look at him, he really worries about me.
"I'll be fine, I'm tough. I can get out of a sticky situation when I want to." I smirked.
"Hmmm... alright! Just don't get lost!" Raven then ran off to join the other wolves, who looked much happier now that he was there.
"Don't worry. I won't" I say, almost in a whisper. Unknowing to everyone, a shadowed figure was in between the trees watching the grey wolves all walk home to the pack. Especially the one little pup, that was walking in the opposite direction. Then, two more figures walk up to the original silhouette.
"Can we get her now boss? Huh, can we?!" The figure on the left spoke in a crazed manner.
"Not now Sparks, you'll get the chance to capture the ring of a wolf."
The figure on the right spoke more with intelligence than its sibling. "Sir, if we wait till dusk, that is when they should be at their weakest. Hunting takes a lot out of them since a lot were injured previously in other hunts."
"Thank you for that information Ashley, tell the rest of the pack that their Alpha, Firefist is ready to take down their enemy pack and take what they have been keeping from us."
The two figures responded in sync. "Yes sir." The two ran off into the dark woods. "The leader stood into the sunset light to look at the paw prints at a better angle. He had a red-orange fur with tuffs of dark red. An ice blue eye and to go with it, a scar along his left eye, making him partially blind. In a smirk and mocking tone, he recited an old nursery rhyme he had heard from human children before attacking them. "Ring-a-round the rosie, a pocket full of posies, ashes! Ashes! We all fall down!" He then walked in the direction of where the other two wolves had gone.

The next couple chapters might be intense. Talk about cliffhangers though! Wow, this the longest chapter so far. I hope you guys are enjoying it. Don't be afraid to comment, but I have two rules, 1. No ushering into updating, that will make me have a writers block and 2. No mean comments
This is all I have to say, bye! .=^.^=
