"Your door was open."

"Ah, yes. Tyler. Come on in. Take a seat." President Sky sat down the book he was reading and peered at Tyler through the thick lense of his glasses. It wasn't often that the president addressed someone by their first name. But Tyler was the Second Hand, so they were less formal. More like family. "What can I do for you?"

"Actually, this is big.  And you might want to listen carefully." Tyler took his seat across the desk from his president, maintaining his posture. He had spent the last hour cleaning, doing his hair, and then finding appropriate apparel for meetings with the president.

President Sky looked at him, curiously. "Get on with it." He had grown more serious now. His tone had grown more commanding.

"Kaity Cartman has received word that the demons are no longer under siege of Lucifer, but a higher being."

The president sat back in his seat, removing his glasses, thinking. "Who's the higher being?"

"That's the thing," Tyler said. "We don't know. But he's trying to break ancient prophecy."

Sky's expression widened and he dropped his glasses onto his desk. "That's... That's illegal. He can't do that." The last time someone had tried breaking prophecy, they had been demolished by Archangel Gabriel...

"As you know, demons aren't under our control," Tyler said.

Green eyes shot right back up at Tyler in an instant. "What prophecy?"

Tyler shrugged. "Beats me."

Moments later, the president pulled out a thick black book and plopped it on the table. The cover design was of a beautiful angel with its head bowed and its wings spread wide.

"This," said Sky. "This is The Book Of The Angel. Do you know what it is?" When Tyler just stared at him, he said, "This is the book that Archangel Michael gave to Hamptle one thousand years ago. It contains every prophecy known to man."

Tyler looked at the wall at the painting of the very first Guardian, Hamptle. He held a sword. Not just any sword. The Sword of Michael. The sword Michael used to cast Lucifer out of Heaven during the War in Heaven.

Hamptle had wide, white wings sprouting from his back. The sword was pointed outwards. His head was bowed. It was a beautiful painting. A very popular one.

"Tyler," Sky said, snapping him back to life. "I'm going to trust you with this book. Do not lose it. Study it and bring it back. Understood?"

"Yes, sir." He took the book and quickly stood up shaking the hand of his president.

"I'll look into this. Keep it quiet for now. We don't need to worry anyone."

Aiden was passed out on the couch when he was shaken awake by a knock on the door. He was a light sleeper. He always had been. A tap on the shoulder could wake him up.

He groaned and rolled off of the couch, crumbling to the floor. Moments later, he got up and went to answer. Upon opening the door, Abby threw her arms around him in a tight, embracing hug.

"Come in," Aiden said, as sleep filled his eyes.

Kim followed Abby as they walked into the living room.

"My mom isn't home. She's at work."

"Oh, and when will she be home?" Kim asked.

"An hour. Hour and a half." Kim began taking off her overcoat. "There's food in the fridge. Help yourself."

Abby pulled Aiden's hand. "Let's go on a walk."
