Niall's pov.

I woke up the next morning and started to make breakfast for everyone, of course the first person down is Katie. When I saw her I remembered I had to punish her for quiting school. I really didn't want to spank her but she promised our mom she would finish while she was with us and now she's always with us because of what happened to our family members. The rest of the lads came down and we all ate while we talked, " Katie I need to talk to you after and lads you need to be there too"

" sorry I can't I'm busy" she said " Katie I need to talk to you and that's final!" she nodded and we continued talking. After I called everyone in the living room for a family meeting. Katie didn't come down when I called " I'll get her Niall" Liam said.

Liam's pov.

I walked up stairs to Katie's room. I knocked " Katie come down stairs please Niall needs to talk to us about something"........... No answer. I walked in and saw she was in her bathroom holding her razor about to cut "KATIE!" I yelled. She flinched at my angered voice and put the razor down. I picked her up, ya she's really light to us boys "what were you planning on doing?" " cutting what did it look like?!" " hey stop with the attitude" " well stop picking me up and treating me like a child and maybe I will". I put her down and we walked down stairs to see what Niall wanted.

" Alright so I wanted to talk about Katie because something happened that harry told me and I will not accept it"

Katie's pov.

Oh No! I know what he is getting at and I don't like it. I stood up "ok yes I quite school! I don't care I couldn't do the work!" I yelled at him, " Katie you could've asked for help from us"

" no I couldn't you are always busy doing things and when you're not, you're playing games and always say ' not right now Katie!'. Niall got up " do not raise you're voice at me! There is more than just me in this house that you can go see for help! And you're 18 you should be able to do things on your own!". I can't believe him! " you know what Katie, go in your room in the corner with your pants down NOW!". I ran up stairs and did as I was told.

Louis's Pov.

Wow! Niall needs to calm down. he's scaring the shit out of her, yes she didn't finish school but she was having trouble. I saw Niall getting the paddle out of the closet," Niall I'll do it for you I'll make sure she listens for now on" I said to him and he agreed. I walked up stairs and heard Katie crying. I walked in and she froze. I walked over to her, touched she shoulder and she freaked out " Niall please I-I'm s-sorry!" she sobbed. " It's ok Katie it's Louis you're ok". I stood next to her bed and told her to come over and bend over the bed. she did as she was told " I promise I will try not to go to hard but I told Niall I would"...... she was silent. I started up and she whimpered at the first hit............ I got to 20 and she was full on sobbing. I put the paddle down and pulled her into a hug. She kept crying for a while, " shh shh Katie you're ok I promise" " No I'm not! Niall and you lads don't even know what's wrong with me! I'm stupid! I can't do anything !". I was confused. What was she talking about. " Katie what do you mean? Everyone has troubles in school", she shook her head. " Katie is there something you are hiding from us?" she nodded her head " what is it?". She sat there in silent.

Katie's Pov.

I didn't want to tell anyone. I never even told my parents, I don't want to me treated differently. " Katie can you please tell me?" Louis asked " No I'm sorry it's a secret" " Katie tell me now or I'll make you tell all of the lads right now". I started to cry. Why couldn't he get that I didn't want to tell anyone, "Katie?" " I'll tell if you promise not to laugh" " I won't laugh I promise". I took a big breath and it just came out " I have dyslexia". I looked up and is face was mixed for feelings. Like a bit of surprise and upset. I looked back down, " I knew you would think I'm weird". Next he hugged me in surprise, " Katie you should of told us sooner, and no I don't think you're weird at all. It's a good thing you told me because the lads need to know and we can help you now and you can get back on to online schooling and graduate". I nodded.

Harry's Pov.

We all sat down stairs talking. I hope Katie is ok. I feel bad I got her into this mess, " lads are they coming down soon?". Liam hugged me " Harry if you're worried about Katie she's ok". At that moment Louis came down with Katie following behind him. I got up and hugged her. " I'm so sorry love, are you ok?" " sort of" " what's up?. Louis spoke up " Katie want to tell them or me ?". What's going with her? Is she ok? She started to cry in my arms, " Katie?" Louis asked. " Can you t-tell them pl-please?". What Louis said next I was not expecting at all, I think none of the boys were, " Katie has dyslexia". Niall got up " What since when?!" " Niall calm down please" Zayn commanded. " Katie since when?" he asked more calmly " " since I went to see the school, nurse in grade 5" " Did mom and dad know?". That question she broke down crying on the floor. Niall got down and hugged her " Katie I promise I'll help you with your school work, do you still have your account?", she nodded\ "ok lets get started tomorrow!".
