Chapter 27

Choco's Pov:

I push on the back of Petey's neck and he falls out of his chair, I lay him on the ground and I whisper in his ear.

"Memories are goo to keep and some you keep forever, Names are one of the,. You remember your name, nicknames and all of the names Matt ever called you."

After I am done saying it I start to shake Petey, he twitches once and then he stops moving. I continue to shake him but he doesn't move at all. I start to panic and I walk over to the porch.

"Guys we have an issue......Go though the house and come around. Petey said he just put the barrier thing around the porch."

Matt was the first to listen and he ran into the house. The others follow and I see Matt open the gate and he runs over to Petey.

"Why didn't he wake?" Matt asks, his voice full of concern.

I suddenly think of something and I growl and lift up Petey's left sleeve to see the Soul Seer mark glowing.

"It is Hades going!"

Matt picks up Petey and places him in his lap. Matt holds him tight and closes his eyes, I think I saw some tears running down his face.

I kneel down next to him and pull him into a hug, Matt was not one to cry so this was a surprise for all of us. Soon we were all sitting around Matt and Petey and Matt was crying into my shoulder.

C: Shh, Matt he will be okay. Petey is one tough cookie.

N: I know, I know. But this whole thing. He took something from him and now I don't know how to help him. Or what to do. Then he never sleeps so he always looks like he is dead. Then Hades, he is putting all of us though so much pain. He almost took you from Kenny. And he is threatening Brandon non stop because he made it so you could be with him.

C: Matt, I know. But he will be okay.

Matt nods his head and sits up and then places Petey back into his lap, and holds him close once again.

K: Ummm...Is it me or is the mark glowing brighter.

Matt lifts up his head and I see the mark starting to glow a brighter red and the black pattern starts to form again. Petey sits up with tears in his eyes and I see blood running down his face.

(B: Brandon)

B: Okay, I don't have much time.

Petey's eyes turn black again and he stands up.

B: I am going to loose my memories, and it will be gone when the pattern is to my shoulder.

J: Can't you stop it?

B: Hades did something to prevent me or anyone to stop it. Choco, I need to do the remember spell thing on me, but only after 2 days. You do it sooner I could possible go brain dead. And during those two days, keep me locked up in one of the rooms. You guys can try and talk to me, but I don't know how it will work. I will be in a panic so you need to be patient and kind. 

C: You trust me to do this.

Petey smile and kneels down next to me.

B: You got this, just you need confidence.

Petey then kneels down next to Matt and both Matt and Petey have tears running down there face.

B: I am so sorry love. But know that I will always love you.

I see the back pattern go over his shoulder and Petey kisses Matt before he falls to the ground. Matt pulls him into his lap and sobs. I look at Kenny and I pull him into my lap. Kenny puts his arms around my neck and hides his face in my chest. He start to cry and I rub his back.

Suddenly Petey sits up and looks at us with a terrified expression written all over his face. He goes to stand up but only falls, so he just scoots away from us.

B: Who are you? Wait who am I!

Petey start to breath heavily and Matt slowly walks up to him.

N: Calm down, you just hit your head really hard, and you lost your memory. My name is Matt, and we are all your friends.

B: Then what is my name?

N: Pri......Brandon.

B: You where going to say something else?

N: I almost just called you a nickname, for now lets just stick with you really name. Okay.

Petey nods and Matt walks up to him and kneels in front of him.

B: Why can't I stand up or feel my legs?

N: You got in an accident the resulted in paralyzing you from the waist down.

B: Okay......Can we go inside I am cold?

Matt nods and he slowly picks up Petey and carries him to the front of the house and then walks in. He carries him up to one of the empty rooms and places him on the bed. Petey curls into a little ball and falls asleep. Matt closes the door and walks down the stairs. We follow him down the stairs and I pick up Petey's book and I start to read it.

Kenny sits next to me.

K: What are you reading?

C: It is Petey's book.

K: It looks like gibberish.

C: Really, because I and reading it just fine.

K: Well wee will ask Pete in two days.

C: Yep two days..

Two days and I know Matt is not going to be okay, none of us are.
