You're now in the 9th grade and you, August, and Hazel attend the same school. You guys never stopped being friends since the seventh grade. You guys were now in freshman year and had your own group of friends but you were still close.
-At lunch one day-
You don't eat that nasty school lunch so you just sat with August and Hazel and chilled out. You sit there looking at August speak and he laughed. You loved his smile. You didn't want to like him though because you would feel weird and you were scared to be open about it especially if he didn't feel the same way. It would ruin your relationship.

Auggiee😘- Lol alright alright, well...okay I actually kinda liked you for a while...actually not too long after we met I caught feelings. But we've been really close friends so I didn't want to jeopardize it. I don't mean to make you feel awkward or anything but honestly, I love everything about you.
You read the message and go blank for a second. August likes you! Eventually, you couldn't help but smile as hard as you could. Now you didn't have to hide your feelings anymore.
