As we boarded off the plane, we looked everywhere to find luggage carousel. When we finally found it it took forever. "I knew we should've took our stuff on the plane." I mumbled under my breath and rolled my eyes. I saw my mom give me an angry look out the corner of my eye. After what seemed like an hour, we finally found our luggage. So we grabbed our stuff and headed out. In case your wondering, my Aunt Linda lives down here. So we're going live with her. She probably needs the company because her husband died two weeks ago.

We were standing on the curb for about 5 minutes when we finally saw her red SUV pull up next to us. My dad opened the front door to reveal a wrinkled face woman with red lipstick and a grey bob cut. "Hi!" She said in an affectionate high pitched voice. "Hi Linda" my mom said and pulled her into a hug. "Hi mom" my dad said as he kissed her in the cheek. "Amanda! I haven't seen you in ages!" My Auntie Linda say practicality forcing me into a hug. "Hi Auntie Linda" As I awkwardly hugged her. I haven't seen her since I was like five, so I don't really remember her.

We arrive at the biggest  house I've ever seen! Well, I'm exaggerating. It's obviously not the biggest house I've ever seen, but it was still pretty big. "Why don't you go upstairs and put your stuff in your room sweetheart?" My Auntie Linda says and point to the stair case. I go upstairs and unpack. As I unpack I come across my journal. "I forgot to fill this out today." I think to myself. '743 says since a suicide attempt." I write plainly underneath my entry from yesterday. I set the book on my dresser and finish unpacking. Once I'm done, I pull my hair into a ponytail and head downstairs. "Can you run this mail over to the house across the street from us sweetie? They dropped the wrong mail over here again" my Aunt Linda hands me the two envelopes and smiles at me. I take the mail and head out the door to the red house that looks just like ours. I walk up the driveway and know on the door. I hear shuffling in the house, when finally a boy with shaggy dark brown hair and kind brown eyes answers the door. He smiles when he sees me. After about 5 seconds of me being an idiot and staring at him I finally realize what I'm doing. "Um, here. You uh left your um mail at my house. I mean they um dropped it off at out house" I stutter. Good job Amanda. I mentally facepalm myself. "Oh thanks. They're always doing that" he says and smiles at me. "Hey, I don't think I've seen you around before. Did you just move?" He asks me. "Yea, I moved here from Wisconsin. We moved in with my aunt Linda." I say pointing at the house behind me. "I'm Ben" he says holding out his hand. "Amanda" I say shaking his hand. "I guess I'll see you around." He says "Yea" I turn around and head back towards my new home. I hear the door shut behind me. I return to the house and all eyes are on me and smiling weird.
"I'm gonna go upstairs. I'm kinda tired." "Okay sweetie. Don't forget you start your first day of your new school tomorrow." 'Oh God. I forgot'

I go up to my room and plop down on my bed. "What a day" I sigh to myself. As I close my eyes and gently fall asleep.
