*knock knock*
The door opened and Sandra the house keeper appeared and practically froze.
"Ta-Ta-Taylor?" Sandra asked shocked.
"Uh-yeah, hi" I said awkwardly.
"I haven't seen you since the accident. How are you coping love?" Sandra stated/asked.
"Uh, I've had better days." I smiled slightly.
"Sandra whose at the door?" I heard Alex ask from inside the house.
"Come in love" Sandra said ignoring Alex's question.
As I took a step into the house I was met with the same blue eyes I fell for when Thomas introduced me to him when we was 5.
"What are you doing here" he asked rudely.
"Language young man" Sandra said from behind me.
"What? She's ignored me for practically a whole year and you're telling me to watch my language" he yelled.

"I-I'm just gonna go I knew it was a bad idea coming over here" I spoke up shyly. I turned around and walked out the door, as I was walking down the driveway I heard Sandra and Alex arguing. As I was going out the gate a hand touched my shoulder and I flinched. I slowly turned around to face an all to familiar face, Alex.
"I'm sorry that I sounded so rude but you haven't talked to me since that day" Alex said sincerely.
"It's ok, I deserved it, I'm so sorry I've ignored you since the accident. But you know how close Thomas was to me." I said with a few tears running down my checks. I tried to hide it so that Alex didn't notice, but he did. And he did what I've wanted since Thomas died. He pulled me into a tight bear hug. He just held me there it felt like we were standing there for ages. We slowly peeled away from each other.
"You ok?" He asked softly.
I didn't trust my voice so I just nodded.

Alex helped me get over Thomas more and showed me in the right direction. He helped me get back my friendship with Ethan and Cameron. On our last day of being free teenagers before we shifted off to college. Alex took me to visit Thomas and we said our final goodbyes. Now that I think about it Alex helped me when I needed someone the most, especially when I needed Thomas. Everyone wanted me to forget about Thomas and I couldn't, it was hard to forget about someone who came into the world with you but left without you.
