PART THREE

The semblance of disconcerting horror fuelled dread in all of the children of Haddonfield. They got sick from the candies they consumed; they got scared when they saw Doctor Loomis hovering in the trees; they got scared by the growing darkness...Because it was Halloween night...The scariest time of the year.

THE WALLACE HOUSE,

7:00 PM,

October 30, 1978,

Halloween Eve

"Mom, is Annie here?".

"In ten minutes, Lindsey".

"But will she bring candies".

"No more candies, honey. Besides, they'll rot your teeth".

"OK".

Then the front doorbell rang.

Annie Brackett smiled.

"ANNIE!!!!".

"Don't fall over, Lindsey".

"I won't!".

Lindsey had short, curly blonde colored hair, blue colored eyes, and petite. She wore a multi-colored dress, slim legs, and brown colored socks. And brown colored shoes on her feet.

"Ok, we're going to the theatre. We won't be back until ten...or so". Don Wallace, 35, told Annie. He had long, blonde colored hair, blue colored eyes, and tall.

He wore a brown colored shirt, blue colored flares, a brown colored belt, black colored socks, and black colored shoes on his feet.

He put his silver colored watch on his left hand.

On his right, middle finger was a wedding ring.

"Get a coat, dear?", Amy Wallace, 33, enquired.

"No".

He saw his favorite brown colored coat hanging from a coat rack in the huge hallway. He put it on. And felt better that he didn't look idiotic.

"You look gorgeous".

"So do you".

"MOM! DAD!".

"Hey, we're adults, Lindsey. That's what we do".

"Do it in private".

And they laughed.

Anne wore a classy black colored, flared dress. She had some expensive silver colored jewellery that was across her thin neck; she was also wearing black colored stockings around her slender legs. And a white colored bra, and black high-heeled shoes on her small feet.

On her right, middle finger was a diamond wedding ring; on her left hand was a silver colored Rolex watch.

She applied red colored lipstick on her mouth.

And grabbed her pink colored purse from the bureau.

"Keys".

Don opened the front door.

"I got my wallet, and keys too. Here's $US200.00 for the night, Annie. And...Happy Halloween". He let his wife got outside.

"Here's your coat, Mom".

"Oh, thank you, Lindsey".

"I don't want you to be cold".

"I'm glad to have a lovely daughter who cares about me".
