And her name is Chloe, Chris, learn it. Not just some Bennet girl.

You have to face her and whatever you're doing. At least she's got the guts to address the problem first. All I offer you is goodluck :)

Chris looked up from his phone. It seemed like they were actually, totally, mad at him. He didn't knew what was going through his mind when he sent that text. It was such an ignorant response. And he sure damn knew that the AoS cast was already added in. He shook his head in regret. "Would Steve Rogers ever do this?" He mentally asked himself, of course, the answer was a straight solid no.

He took a deep breath and just awaited his death. Well, not exactly. Though, very likely.

Just after a few minutes passed, the doorbell rang. Chris stood up, brushed the crease from his clothes. This was it.

He walked towards the door, clicked, and opened to reveal his demise. (He's over dramatic)

"Hey," Chloe greeted. Her expression was neither happy nor angry. Chris couldn't read her. He started freaking out inside, overthinking the situation. After some minutes, he realized he hasn't even invited her in. Mentally remarking himself how stupid that was.

"Oh god, I'm sorry. Come in." He gestured, stepping aside to make room. Chloe nodded, a playful grin on her lips "Took you long enough, Cap." Her tone threw him off. Was she mad? Was she here to settle the mess he made? Probably, but it sure didn't seem like it.

Following after her entrance, they both took seats from each side of the sofas that were facing each other. Chloe crossed her legs and leaned back. Shortly after, followed by a chuckle. "You're so quiet. You have to loosen up, dude." She continued, "It may come as a shock, to you only (probably), that I'm not some raging bitch, here to beat your ass. I'm here to talk, it's as simple as that." This was good, Chris thought. He started to feel more relieved and relaxed. He could jump around and celebrate right now, but that wouldn't be a nice impression.

He propped his elbows on each thigh and leaned forward, "Chloe, I'm sorry for what I said earlier with the group chat. That was seriously ignorant of me. It was very-out of character." He tried to explain best. Chloe nodded, "Yeah, okay, that's fine. I just don't want people not liking Agents of Shield crew, because were cool AF," Earning a small laugh from the two.

She continued shortly "Although, what's been bugging me is why did you ignore me the whole time when we had the first 'Infinity War' meeting and only came to me when you were forced by RDJ to take a selfie?" Chris scrunched up his eyebrows in confusion, "I-what-" He struggled finding the right words, "but do you not like me? I was ignoring you because I thought you're better off without my presence because you don't like me. And so since that, I thought you were a bit of a snob, which again, I apologize." Which earned an equally confused look from Chloe herself.

"What? No, I like you, till you ignored me the whole time and I thought you hated me. It just seemed like you never really cared about me nor are we close friends so I didn't bother pretending we knew each other before."

"I don't mind if you want to pretend we know each for years." He replied back."But I don't know that, Chris."

Chloe leaned back again, and just shook her head while laughing softly, "We keep assuming everything. We are a mess." Miming Chloe's actions, Chris did the same. A smirk on his lips, nodding in agreement, "Well, now at least we've got something in common. We are both confusing."

Hours passed by, both didn't notice due to how much they were talking. Chris even got up and got drinks and some snacks for them. The two finally came to terms with their problem

Chloe put down the mug she was holding, taking a break from their conversation. Glancing on her phone, "Shit, it's past midnight. Oh my god, i'm sorry for staying this long." She then stood up in a hurry. Chris followed and stood as well, "Woah, no no, it's okay. I don't mind. Who knew you were so fun to talk to?" They both chuckled, as he came with her to find the door.

"It was really relieving to finally get to talk about it and thanks." Chloe bid goodbye as she walked outside. Chris then slowly closed the door as she was gone from his sight.

He was close to closing the door when it snapped and he realized, what was he doing? It was past midnight and he's letting her walk out at night?

He swung the door open and jogged up to catch her pace, and grabbed her when he was near. "Chloe, i did something stupid again." Chris chuckled nervously, and scratched the back of his head, "So would you like to stay at my place for the night?" She laughed at how late he asked this since he had to jog up to her. "Nah, its cool. My house is just a few blocks away. I could manage, I'm Quake." Chris smiled but still decided to offer it, "No, I insist. It's alright if you'd stay the night. Better, actually. I have a guest room." "So I don't get to sleep on the couch?" He shook his head no, "Then that's all you needed to say. Shall we?" As they walked in sync toward Chris's house.

"About what you said earlier? I could never hate you, Chloe."

this story will INDEED have some social media & real life. So expect more chapters like this in the future. Also hoped what I wrote wasnt too boring, but quite decent.
