was i fucking stupid?
he literally told me i could leave
why did i say no?
"i mean, it's not like i have anyone who cares about me"
"well now you do"
he told me he wasn't going to hurt me
was he lying? he ended up showing me his house and he lived in a pretty big one
5 rooms and 3 bathrooms
he told me i could pick a bedroom to sleep in and that's what i did
i felt super bad, though
"hey sir?" i asked
"sir? my name is cody" he replied with the biggest smile
"cody, i'm very sorry for punching you in the nose multiple times"
"it's okay. i just have a very sensitive nose and that's why it was bleeding so much"
"i'm so sorry"
"i said it was okay"
i didn't want to do anything else today, except sleep because that's one thing i haven't gotten in a while
cody was in the kitchen on the phone ordering a pizza
i sat down on a chair and waited until he was done
"hey can i get a 16 inch cheese pizza with a side of mozzarella sticks please?" he said into the phone
"30 minutes? thanks" he finally said
he kind of jumped when he looked at me
"weren't you upstairs?"
"yeah i just wanted to tell you that i'm probably going to sleep for the rest of the day. im super tired"
"i just ordered some food for us, though. wait until you're done eating and then you can sleep for as long as you want, okay?"
"okay. thank you"
"you're welcome, beautiful" he said blushing
the pizza came and we sat around the table to eat
"cody i have a lot of questions to ask you" i said quickly
"really? because i have a lot of questions to ask you"
"yeah ok. but i'm going first" i replied to him
"fine"
"who's house is this?" i asked him my first question
"it's mine. my parents died about two years ago so i just took responsibility for the house"
"i'm very sorry"
"it's whatever. they didn't really care about me anyways"
"you know, that's what happened with me. my parents died when i was 10. my father used to abuse my mother and he ended up killing her. once he realized what he did, he killed himself and i saw it all happen" 
"oh my goodness im so sorry"
i was crying now
i'm such a fucking idiot
"aw baby don't cry"
he got up from where he was and hugged me so tightly- i didn't want to let go
"can i go to sleep now?" i asked sniffling my nose
"of course princess just call me if you need anything, okay?"
"thank you cody"
