I looked at the card as I sat up . Call him now. That seems very desperate . I put the card in my side table drawer and got up . I just remembered that I have Amy's keys . My car was in the shop for a few weeks so I've been bumming rides from her. She didn't mind it .I grabbed my PINK gym outfit & Nike trainers and decided to head out to the gym. I had always went to Zumba on Saturday in the mornings. I walked into the room with my water bottle and belongings. Kloyd was a nice instructor and I was upset to find out that he was transferring over to a new location. This new instructor better but up to his standards . I was on my phone since the class hasn't started yet. Ame'erie could've brought her ass on with me but she had Terrance in her bed.

Soon a voice  came out of entrance and a tall figure came to the front of of the group.

"Hello hellooo. Nice to see you all. I am your new instructor ,Larry Bourgeois. Forgive me for my tardiness  "
.... This can't be happening . The identical brother to my ex boyfriend is standing here speaking . I really wanted to spazz out.I thought I'd never come close to him again, well atleast someone similar .
"Let's begin" he turned on some music with a Caribbean yet energetic atmosphere . I couldn't understand a word it said but that didn't mean I wouldn't dance to it. He moved so quickly but I caught on. The moves repeated for a bit and then he switched it up. Some people couldn't take the speed. "Guys it's just up up down down, not too hard, come on I'll show you."  He moved his hips and added an animated voice to show us the instructions. What a character, he hasn't changed a bit. I giggled as he helps the crew that struggled. " VIBRATE ,VIBRATE " he made this more enjoyable . " aye chill I said vibrate not gyrate " he said jokingly to one of the older women. At one point he acted like he was twerking to the music and then started getting focused again. I like how he made room for fun. Kloyd was a little more strict." High knee, right , high knee ,left.. Turn . You can cha-cha if you want . You no need to be kept in a tiny spot. Just feel the music. It'll keep you up on balance of this work out"  he danced around for a little and check out the class. As he was making his way towards me, I felt somewhat timorous .He did the moves beside me " nice work ! Don't slow up."  He was looking at me a couple times but I didn't catch a sign of recognition .I'm guessing he didn't remember  . Class was ending shortly and People left quicker than I did. I had definitely worked up a sweat. I drunk my water as I prepared my self to leave.
"Wait, um can you come here real quick?" Larry called me over to him.
"if I'm correct.. Is your name Shannon .. Shannon Rykkard ?" He said in such a questionable tone.
" yes Larry . It's me" he got up so fast and gave me a hug. That was the tightest ,warmest hug I've ever experienced in sweat. Half of me wanted to pull away and wipe myself but then again I truly enjoyed this moment.

"That can't be. He said all he needed to say in that letter " I folded my arms .
"Shannon you don't even understand. I think it was a mistake.". Mistake??? at that moment I didn't even feel like asking him how the fuck he even got in this town or any of that willy-nilly 'how's life goin for ya 'cliche trash . I'm at my level of agitation .
"HOW? He wrote it himself , I blocked him on everything you could think of that night . I surely don't wanna hear that bullshit !!" I wasn't taking none of that but I swear if I saw him I'd
Just melt into his arms. I missed him more than anything but he had some nerve.
"Well he is in town.. " those words softened me. I sighed and looked at my shoes that seemingly were interesting for a second. I needed self control. I'm not gonna let another girl get in between us once again or was it him who let her just walk into his life and give him the ultimate fuck of his liking to where he no longer wanted me. I just gave Larry the most dull answer . " Kay."With that I left the gym and rode home . I first thing I did was hop in the shower . 'Mystery man might take my mind off of things ' I engaged in self encouragement. ' text him at least Shannon ' 'see what's up with him'
I got out and found something to wear. The phone was on speaker ." You coming yet?"
"Yess Ame'erie I'm on my way!"
'I'm just now putting on clothes' I didn't mention to her. She just hung up.

I made my way to the car and crunk up the car.

I saw the 3 dots pop up and became frantic

That's decent . I was driving so I say my phone in my purse. My convo will probably be dry anyway so I shouldn't constantly look at my phone . I shrugged and drove to the mall. I walked in the food court and  grabbed a bite to eat . I felt a tight tug at my curl

I got closer to the front of the line and ordered my Chinese food. We both got our food and headed to a table. " so yeah I guy I met at the shine "

" he was a nice guy with an edge. I didn't see his face but the aura he gave off was veryyyyy attractive .no we didn't kiss but he gave me his number and got a grip of da booty" I laughed a little

Then I remembered I didn't get to see his respond"
" OH yeah!! Wait"
I pulled out my phone and see he responded about 10 mins ago. Aye I got a quick texted on my hands .
??? 'I'm at the mall'
"SHIT!! "I put my phone back on the table

" he is here. Like right now Amy !! "I'm a little too uppity right now.
I fixed my curls and looked around .
" go find him " she smiled.

' I'm in the food court, over by  Cheesecake Factory you'll see me alone at a table, it's not much business over here '

I bet if someone saw me, my dimples would've been in full display. I was getting closer to my destination.

By the time I had gotten a response  ,I had spotted his face.I seen his Chiseled features . Those brown eyes that I often would get lost in .Those twists with a backwards snapback sitting right ontop.Those art filled tattoos along his sleeve and chest that I remembered oh so perfectly .
