Through the Window [LT fanfiction]

Refresher

I awoken to the sunlight beaming in through my window . I did my morning routine .I didn't  recall getting into bed so I'm assuming Lau must've sat me there. As I was heading out of my room I heard a close calling of my name from out of the window .
"Aye Shannon!"I smiled as I saw Lau with his fluffy Afro flaring in the morning sun . He took his twists a loose so his fro looked more wild than I remembered .
"Good morning lion"I giggled
"Oh hush , where ya going ?"
" I got to go work"
"Oh well ,I'll text you later"he nodded .
[EVANT magazine corporate building;half hour later]
I had just got done typing up an article on a local fashion designer when Ame'erie came up to me .
"so Terrance is hosting an all white party at Lavish next week ,I'm handing you tickets for V.I.P upfront . "
I grabs ahold of the envelope she was handing me and opened it up
"Um why is there two tickets in here?" "I think that maybe you could bring Lau ..no refunds " she cheesed at me
" you little mastermind" I shook my head and rolled my eyes in a playful manner
"But you love me though! "She dashed around the corner leaving me with the tickets .I guess I have a date for next week..That is if he says yes. I mean ,hey he probably could reject me. I was staring at the tickets ,then I began to feel someone in my presence .
I paused as I seen Larry sitting on my desk. "Yoo ,when did you get here?"
"I literally just walked up behind you."he laughed at me
"So ,What brings you here ?"
"I just wanna .." He hesitated for a minute
"Yeah Larry?"
"We should go.."
"Go where ?"
"Somewhere we can talk." This must be important that I have to leave my job . We went out the exit and he led me to his car.
