"Are you serious?" Miranda asked dead panned "Like, we're talking about completely serious here" she said, eyes widened in shock.
I raised an eyebrow, nodding slowly. Her mouth hung open with a promise of words but none came out "Oh my God" is all she breathed out "Hey! Do not call the Lord's name in vain" I scolded.
"How are you not ecstatic?! Basically you've got the Aiden Wilson asking you out and asked you to wear something nice so you'd probably get laid-" "No way I'm allowing him. Only going because he intimidates me" I explained in short phrases, not really in the mood to deal with the situation in hand.
"But he's the Ai-" "Ephasizing 'the' doesn't make the person interesting" I snapped "He doesn't appeal to me and if ever I do enjoy his company, which I probably wont, I'd go out with him another time" I huffed most likely annoyed.
You can't blame me, really. I needed to study for mid-terms but having Miranda chattering my ear off doesn't help me concentrate.
"Miranda, leave the poor girl. Besides, we need to study" Jamie muttered from beside me "Fine" she muttered in defeat, going back to study her History book.
x intercept would have to substitute y as zero so the equation is equaled to... negative five.
I calculated in my mind. I can't afford wasting anymore time right now since I still have to go on that bothersome date (I don't even think I should consider it a date. More like going against my will) of his.
So if we were to graph a number in which both x and y are both zero which means its the origin then-
Before I can continue my calculation, a paper plane landed on my binder. My brows knitted together in confusion. Looking around I saw him smirking at me, nodding his head towards the peice of paper. I quickly opened it up to be met by (surprisingly) legibly written words.
Remember to wear something nice tonight. And I didn't quite catch your name last night -A
I found myself fighting back a smile.
My name's Diana
I crupled the paper. Checking if the teacher was aware of my actions before throwing the peice of paper, him catching it gracefully.
"Nice throw" he said, his voice echoing through the room. I found my ears tinting red at the simple compliment.
Snap out of it. I scolded myself.
I went back to calculating the sample problems "Diana" his voice came out as a sharp whisper. I looked back to where he was, looking at him expectantly, as if to say Well? "Nothing" he said, his smirk deepening.
I glared at him, going back to my Algebra paper. I quickly solved the remaining problems, glad that we had a free period to do whatever homework we haven't done. I shoved my binder into my bag, quickly bringing my History book out next before the same crumpled paper was thrown on my desk. I didn't even bother to look at his direction. Just opening the note.
Remember. 6pm sharp.
I read before looking at his direction. Seeing his stoned faced feature scan my face before slipping out of the room soundlessly "What was that about?" Miranda asked quietly hesitant "Well, I just figured out he's also an annoying dickhead" I muttered quietly, going ahead and reading through the what seemed like endless words about the French revolution.
I heards Miranda let out a soft squeal, looking all giddy. I just brushed it off and continued my scanning.

I applied a little bit more eyeliner, not bothering in applying any other make up aside from the said pencil. I slipped into my baggy t-shirt then slipping on some shorts as well. Throwing on some Supras and quickly slipped my phone into my pocket "I'm going out mum, dad. And yes, finished my homework" I shouted, my voice bouncing around the walls of my abode "Be back before 10. Stay safe" my dad's voice came first "Love you honey, enjoy" my mum's voice came next, coming from the kitchen.
I slipped out of the front door. Locking it and glad I didn't forget to bring my keys with me. I enjoyed the feeling of the cool blows of wind against my skin as I walked down the gravel path. I spotted his car right on the curve, exactly where he said it would be. I knocked on the window, seeing slight movement inside. The doors of the impressive car unlocked and I quickly got in "Hi" I piped up happily, too much in a good mood to not do so.
"I bet your happy your with me aren't you?" he asked deeply, the sounds of the RnB songs playing on the radio barely audible "Don't get your hopes up. I'm only happy because I finally finished studying" I huffed, letting myself relax against the cool leather seats. He said nothing more but drove.
I didn't like the silence. It isn't the comfortable kind. It was the annoying awkward ones "Your not like the others" he simply said bluntly "Thank you" I thanked genuinely happy and took his statement as a compliment "I just basically called you weird and you took it as a compliment" he said, not even the slightest hint of a smile was graced on his lips "I prefer the term unique" I said grinning at him even though I was convinced that he wasn't looking at me nor is he paying much attention.
"You don't get excited" he stated once more "Theres no need really. Its just you" I shrugged "But girls see me as some kind of God and you... well you don't" he supplied more explanation "Don't get your ego to big kid. You're far from a God" I scoffed.
He stepped on the breaks apprubtly making me jerk forward slightly. I looked around seeing trees everywhere. I went ahead to look at him but found his face closer to mine than I'm comfortable with. I can feel his breath because the lack of space we had "I like you" he whispered smirking before continuing out.
Did I just agree to go out with a phycopath?
