4 months later

Jennifer Jareau didn't have any hope left. The team hadn't found her yet and she knew they never would. Everyday looked the same. Will woke her up in the morning, after she had slept for three hours, and made her do breakfast for the whole family. After they ate she had to get dressed, even if the furthest she could go was the backyard. Will had been kind enough to let her get some air once a day, but she could never go outside without him close by, holding her arm. Her instincts told her to fight him, but her body was weak and the person growing inside her made everything a lot harder. The bump was more visible than it should have been by this time, due to the amount of weight she had lost. Henry still didn't understand what was going on, except that he wanted to go to preschool and the zoo, but Will told him to wait. He didn't trust them enough to let them see the outside world.

JJ was the one who always made the lunch out of whatever they had at home. It wasn't much, but she didn't have an appetite anyways so she gave most of it to the kids. The younger one had finally learnt to eat real food which helped since JJ couldn't really breastfeed in this state. After lunch they played inside, or the kids played while JJ and Will cuddled on the couch. She never dared to move and hated herself whenever she drifted of to sleep in his arms. She felt disgusting most of the time, as if she agreed to be his wife after everything he'd done.

"Mommy, mommy, wake up," Henry said one morning, startling her awake from her nightmares, worried something had happened.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" She asked quickly, sitting up straight in the bed. Will wasn't next to her which was very strange since he always woke her up.

"Daddy said we can go to the zoo today!" He beamed, clapping his hands and jumping up and down in the bed.

"He did?" JJ asked in surprise, but she didn't believe it until it happened.

Henry nodded, excitedly. "Yes, we're going right after breakfast and he promised I could see all the animals."

Jennifer smiled at her little boy and brought him into her arms for a hug. She loved to see him this happy again; that he was finally excited about something. And maybe she was too. This might be the opportunity she needed. There would be lots of people there and easy to slip a note to someone or call for help. Will trusted them now and it would be his downfall.

She got out of bed and put Henry down on the floor as she got dressed. Most clothes were too big, but with a belt she could make it work. Her hand held Henry's as they exited the room and descended the stairs. This morning Will was the one who cooked which was something very different and she wondered slightly if something was wrong.

"Good morning, beautiful," he said and gave her a kiss on the cheek before he continued with the breakfast.

"Henry said we're going to the zoo," she said slowly and hesitantly.

He looked at her, cocking one eyebrow. "Me and the kids are going," he said with a chuckle. "You will have to stay at home." He explained and looked back at his task.

JJ's face fell. She really did think this was their chance to escape this place, but of course Will didn't trust her to join them. Exhaling a shaky breath, she sat down on a chair and looked at her son and daughter. Maybe, just maybe there was still a chance though.

"Of course," she nodded slowly and looked back at Will. "I will get both of them dressed so they're ready for your little adventure." She said that with a smile and took Henry's hand and lifted Julia up.

"Breakfast is almost ready so hurry up," he said, a hint of a warning in his tone.

She took them both and hurried up the stairs to their bedroom. As soon as they were inside she left them by the bed and rummaged around the room for a pen and a paper. It wasn't so hard to find, but now she needed to figure out what to write on it. She started with the word Help, kidnapped and then her name. Under her name she wrote Hotchner's name and phone number. Now the only thing missing was the address which she hadn't quite learned yet, but she knew the house number and where on the planet she was. Hopefully that would be enough for Garcia.

Exhaling a shaky breath, she found clothes for them both and dressed them. The note was put into Henry's pocket. She kneeled down in front of him to whisper.

"You need to make sure a lady or man gets that note, baby."

She knew she was putting her oldest son in danger, and possibly all of them, but this was their only chance. Who knew when a moment like this would occur again.

"What is it?" Henry asked, looking down at his mother. "What if I don't find anyone?"

JJ smiled a comforting smile and took his hands. "There will be lots of people at the Zoo. You can give it into anyone." She said "It's just a message for my old friends, but you can't tell dad about it."

"Why can't you call them?" He asked, his voice full of innocence that almost made her cry, but she couldn't break down in front of him.

"I just can't right now," she said softly and kissed the boy's head. "We need to go downstairs now before daddy wonders where we are."

Calling him daddy made her cringe inwardly. That's what he was, even after everything he had done. She still wasn't sure what she would say when Will finally got thrown into prison. How would Henry and Julia handle knowing their father is a kidnapper, rapist and murdered?

Walking down the stairs she put on a weak smile. Henry ran over to his father, very excited about the day. She put Julia in a stroller and took a step back.

"When should I have dinner ready?" She asked him, her voice quiet.

"You will make dinner when I get home," he replied and led the kids to the car, putting them inside quickly. He returned inside a few minutes later and grabbed her arm. "I can't risk you running away." He hummed and pulled her up to their bedroom where she always was restrained when Will left the house. This time was no different. Both hands and legs were always shackled to the wall and duct tape put over it to make it extra hard to escape. The windows had long ago been nailed shut and on the bedroom door were three locks on the outside. He still didn't trust her and she wasn't sure if he ever would.

Putting a hand on her stomach she watched as he worked on restraining her. When he was done he smiled at his work, confident she couldn't get out of the room.

"I'll see you later, babe" he winked before he walked away. She heard the sounds of the locks and then his footsteps getting further and further away. The last thing she heard of him was the car starting and speeding away. Now she just had to hope Henry would follow her instructions. They would get help.
