Chapter 14

Alexa PoV

I was helping my sister pack. ''You're actually leaving'' I said, about to cry.

''Alex'' Ophelia hugged me. ''Don't cry''.

''How can I not? I won't have you anymore'' I told her.

''I'm going to miss you'' she sighed.

''Me too. Promise me, call me when you land''  said.

''Promise me, you and Isabel stop fighting and especially, stay away from Nathan's mom'' she demanded.

''I'll try'' I smiled, then dad came in. ''I'll leave you guys'' I said, leaving.

Francis PoV

I was with Eleanor. I would be with Isabel, but she wants to just stay in the palace and Len wants me to stay away from her. ''So you put my brother in jail?'' I repeated again. ''Why?''

''You don't want to know'' Eleanor hissed and Jasper came out.

''Francis? Why are you h-''

''He needs some time off with my sister'' Eleanor told him. ''I'm going to need you 2 to help me'' Eleanor said, getting in the car and so did we.

''What happens if Isabel finds out?'' Jasper asked.

''Your problem and my mother's'' Eleanor started to drive.

Isabel PoV

I was in my room with Nate because his mom is with my mum. ''It's so weird having your mom back'' I stated.

''I know right'' he said.

''Do you know why?'' I asked.

''No idea'' he replied.

Nathan PoV

''No idea'' I lied. I know why. My mom is telling Isabel's mother to announce half of the truth. I've been keeping a secret from Isabel for a long time and I can't say. If she knows, it will hurt her. And I don't want to see my best friend get hurt.

''You know I like you. You and Alexa'' Isabel said and I stared at her shock. ''I actually don't hate her'' she added.

''Why won't-''

''I don't want her to know. I just don't'' she cut me off and looked at the ground. ''Everything's changing, Nate. I don't like it'' she told me, hugging her knees and started to cry. Crying, I have never seen before.

''Isabel? Isabel, what's wrong?'' I asked.

''I can't do this Nate. I can't'' she cried and I took  my phone out, contacting Francis, but he wasn't answering. So I contacted Alexa.

Francis PoV

Me, Jasper and Eleanor are walking on a sidewalk. ''So let me get this straight. The king's been stabbed, Liam's missing, and you've agreed to meet some self-professed psychotic murderer, and you're not worried about that?'' I asked Eleanor.

''Of course I'm worried about that. What do you think you're doing here?'' she said.

''Well, I don't know. What are we doing here?'' Jasper asked.

''As far as I can tell, you're the go-to guy for three things, Jasper. To videotape and blackmail me, to go down on my mother, and to protect me from a psychotic murderer who wants to meet me under a bridge. Considering we've already ticked the first two boxes, I figured you'd be up for the third'' Len explained.

''And me?'' I asked.

''You already know. Stay away from my sister for 1 day'' she said.

''Ok. But we have to go to the palace first'' Jasper ordered.

''Fine. But you'll have to wait in the car'' Len told us. 

''Wait, you said the changes have been dropped'' Jasper said.

''They have been. Technically, you're allowed in the palace. We just don't have time for you to sleep with my mum'' she explained and kept walking.

''You realize there was no videotape?!'' my brother asked.

''Yes, I know that, thank you!'' she yelled.

''You slept with her mother?'' I asked.

''Shut up Francis'' my brother followed her and so did I.

''I'm like a third wheel here'' I told myself.

Alexa PoV

It was night. After my sister left, I quickly rushed into the palace. When I went in her room I saw Nathan was comforting her. ''What did you do?!'' I asked, sitting on her bed.

''I didn't do anything. We were just talking then she started crying'' Nate explained.

''Isabel'' I started but then she cut me off.

''Stay away from me. Both of you stay away from me'' she cried, going to the corner.

''Where's her mother?'' I asked.

''With my mom'' he answered.

''Where's Francis? You know Her boyfriend?'' I asked.

''Not answering'' he said.

''I'll find him'' I said, leaving the room. I was walking around the palace and saw Francis, Jasper and Len. ''There you are!'' I shouted.

''Alex-''

''Shut up! I need you now'' I said, grabbing his arm and went to Isabel's room and he saw his girlfriend crying.

Eleanor PoV

''Our siblings and their best friends has so much-''

''Drama'' Jasper finished.

''Totally'' I said.

Francis PoV

Nathan explained to me what had happened and they think ,I might be the only one who could calm her down. ''Isabel-''

''No, stay away from me! Stay away!'' she cried, putting her hands on her hair.

''Get Len'' I ordered and both Alexa and Nate left. ''Isabel?'' I touched her arm, but she pushed it away.

''Isabel?'' I heard Liam's voice. I moved away from Isabel and Liam and Len saw Isabel. ''Isabel'' Liam and Len rushed towards her.

''Liam'' Isabel hugged him.

''Shh. I'm here, Isabel. We're here'' Liam reassured her and Isabel was calming down.

Liam PoV

Isabel fell asleep and I put her on her bed. ''She's fine now. She's just taking it too hard. I think it's her anxiety attack. She used to have itas a little girl, it was gone, but I guess it's back'' I explained to everyone.

''I never knew that'' Nathan said.

''Neither did I'' Alexa added and I nodded.

''She'll be fine later'' I said, before leaving her room, to go and talk to Cyrus.

Eleanor PoV

Isabel woke up fee minutes later  and she was apologising to everyone about her panic attack, early on. Few minutes later, Marcus came in and gave us bad news. I rushed out and Jasper followed and I didn't see Isabel follow.

Isabel PoV

I didn't know how to react. ''Isabel, are you ok?'' Alexa asked. I looked at her.

''Of course. I'm fine. No one can't have a happy life all the time, right?'' I asked and they looked at me, like I'm not ok. ''Guys, I'm fine'' I said. ''I just...I just want to be alone'' I said and they all left my room.
