Chapter 3 Where am I?

Aria pov

I wake up on a soft bed with my head on someone and they were holding an ice pack
on my head my eyes are still blurry so I can't see who it is or where I am but there was a smell I could never forget the men's aftershave mixed with the smell of beer. I sat up and realised I was in Ezras apartment.

"Aria! Hey your awake." Ezra said in his cute and caring voice.

"Ezra? Why am I here? What happend?" I asked slightly panicking.

"Aria you were in the park I was going to come over so we can talk, then you fainted I put you in my car and i drove you straight here." Ezra said reassuring me I was okay.

"Wait Ezra what did you want to talk to me about?" I said hoping he was going to say he loved me.

"Nothing it can wait till you feel better." Ezra said

"No Ezra. No more secrets!" I said with a stern tone

"Wait I will tell you. If you tell me why you have so many bruises and cuts on your wrists." Ezra said looking worried.

"Ezra. It's J..Jaake." I said as a tears formed in my eyes,

"He...he abus...Ezra I'm fine I'm just clumsy." I said wiping my tears and ran out the door.

"Aria Aria don't leave talk to me I love you." Ezra said trying to catch up with me was running.

Why did I do that I could've just go back together with Ezra and Jake will go to prison. I walked up the stairs to my apartment and Jake grabbed my hair and pulled me to the floor and began kicking me.

"Jake stop your hurting me." I said crying my eyes out

Jake went to the kitchen to get a beer while he did I called Ezra and didn't say anything so he could hear what was happening to me.

Ezra's pov

I laid on my bed reasting my head on my shoulders then I got a call from Aria.
I answer the phone and I heard Aria screaming "Jake stop it stop Someone help me." I sit up a start panicking to the point where I start to cry.

"Aria stay there I'm coming honey." I say to myself running out of my apartment.

I trace the location of where the phone call came from and i was in my car I skipped 3 red lights I hope she's okay. I get there then I see the door open it walk in and there's blood on the walls

"Aria! Aria are you here Aria?" I shouted.

"Ez...ra." Aria said but she badly got the words out.

"Behind y...you." Aria said

"What?" I said but as I said it Jake came up behind me and started to attack me. I start to fight back pushing him to the floor and punching him until he passes out I ran over to aria and put her head on my legs. I ran my fingers through her soft shiny hair. Then she finally spoke.

"Ezra I love y..." Aria said then closed her eyes.

"Aria? This isn't funny wake up. No Aria don't you dare die on me. Come on Aria stay with me." I said I called the ambulance and explained what happend they also took that sick freak Jake. If she doesn't make it I'm going to kill him with my bare hands.

We get to the hospital and I just see Aria with machines tide to her and a breathing mask I break down and begin to cry. I need to call the girls.

I call Emily first.

(On the phone.)

Ezra: Hello Emily.

Emily: Umm Hey Mr.fi... Ezra what's happend? You sound like you've been crying.

Ezra: It's Aria she's in hospital.

Emily: What? why?

Ezra: Jake he abuses her and I found him doing it and she was okay then she started to talk then her eyes closed and she didn't wake up!

Emily: OMG NO!

Ezra: Can you call the girls and Caleb and Toby. I really need you guys.

Emily: Yeah sure. Aria's strong she will make it is promise

I hang up the phone and just stare at Aria throught the windows. Hang in there baby you will make it.

Hannas pov

I was sitting at home putting on my shoes to match my white Saturn dress with my hair in curls then caleb walked in.

"Hey babe." I say to caleb giving him a peck of the lips.

"So I was thinking we go out for a dinner and movie. Like old times." Caleb said.

"Sounds great." I say then we begin to kiss then my phone started buzzing it was Emily.

"Time out! Its Em." I say picking up the phone.

(On the phone.)

Hanna: Hey Em.

Emily: Hey can you get to rosewood? Like now?

Hanna: Em. I'm in New York.

Emily: Hanna, Aria is in hospital.

Hanna: OMG Why? Em this better not be a joke.

Emily: Why would I joke about that? Jake abused her and Ezra found her she was okay then she closed her eyes and Now...she's in hospital

Hanna: NO! ME AND CALEB ARE LEAVING NOW

Emily: See you at the hospital. Hurry

Hanna: you call Spencer and I will call Ali.

Emily: Okay bye Han.

I get off the phone and break down to the floor crying my eyes out.

"Hanna what's wrong?" Caleb asked me.

"It's Aria she's... She's in hospital."

"No. She's like my little sister we need to go."

We get in the car and I call Alison to tell her the news She breaks down and starts to cry she also lives in New York with her husband Lorenzo. We pick her up so she doesn't have to take that plane to rosewood on her own. I should have never left Rosewood.

Ezra's pov

The girls and Caleb and Toby run in asking how Aria is but I can't bring myself to say I so I just point to the window the all look in seeing Aria laying there still. They all come over and sit down. Trying to comfort me.

"Ezra Aria is the strongest person I have ever met." Caleb said.

"Hes right bro." Toby said tapping me on the shoulder.

"They are right!" The girls all said in unison.

"You know what...I'M SICK OF YOU SAYING ARIA WILL BE OKAY WHAT IF SHE'S NOT? HUH?" I said.

Then I realised what I said and I just saw there faces drop.

"Omg I am so sorry." I said putting my head in my hands

"Ezra bud, if it was any of our loved ones god forbid it but if that was Hanna, Spencer or even You, Ali and Em. We would be the same." Caleb said reassuring me.

We talked for a few moments then the nurse came over asking me to talk privately so I went over my palms were sweating my knees went weak and they told me the news. When she told me my face dropped and i fell to the floor crying.
