Supernatural Fanfic Pt.2

Chapter 5

-- Bobby's house, 1 month later --

You knock on the bathroom door, "Sam?  You've been in there for awhile, your foods getting cold." you call through the door.  When Sam doesn't answer, you slowly turn the handle and find it unlocked. "Sam if I come in here and end up seeing more than..." you trail off at Sam's look.  "I'll get Dean." you say quietly and he nods.  Five minuets later, Sam joins you and Dean at the table.  "What's going on?" Dean asks and looks from you to Sam.  "I had another vision." Sam mutters.  Dean looks at you, then Bobby before finally looking at Sam.  "And?" he asks. 

"We need to go to the Roadhouse." Dean leans back in his chair and stares at Sam.  "What?  Is Ellen okay? What about Jo?" Dean demands.  Sam shakes his head, "They're fine, the vision wasn't about them." Sam mutters.  "Who's Ellen and Jo?" you ask.  Dean looks back at you and then remembers that you'd been in New York while he and Sam hunted a clown.  "Ellen runs a Roadhouse, that doubles as a pit stop for hunters. She called one of my Dad's old phones and said she could help us with our demon problem."  he catches you up quickly and you think for a minute.  "Well, lets go then." You decide.  Sam looks at you gratefully but Dean frowns.  "Well, don't you think we should wait for a minute and think this through?  I don't know that going to the Roadhouse is that good of an idea."

Sam hits the table, "It was another premonition Dean! I know it. What I saw is going to happen and Ash can tell us where!" Sam insists.  "Who's Ash?" You interject quickly. "He's this rock-star genius that looks like hes from the 80's, he's helping us find the demon." Dean explains. "Plus, this could be connected to the demon! My vision's usually are!" Sam says, raising his voice.  "Well but that's my point! There's going to be hunters there and I don't know that going in and announcing that you're some kind of supernatural freak with a demonic connection of some kind is the best thing right now!" Sam frowns at Dean and you rub your forehead. "So I'm a freak now?" Sam challenges.  "Ah, you've always been a freak." Dean says with a small grin, obviously trying to get himself out of the sticky situation. "Fine, alright.  Let's go."

You hesitate and stay seated.  You don't know if they want you to come or not.  You hadn't exactly left on the best of terms. The boys hurry off but Dean stops at the doorway, "(YN), you coming?" he asks.  You relax and smile back at him, "Totally, let me tell Bobby and pack a bag."

-- At the Roadhouse, late that night --

Dean leads the way into the Roadhouse with you and Sam following close behind.  "I'm really glad you came with us, (YN).  And he won't admit it but I think Dean's really happy too." Sam whispers to you.  You smirk, "Yeah, well someone's got to keep you two alive." You stop just behind Dean as a pretty blonde girl walks towards you with a big grin.  "Just can't stay away can you?" she asks Dean.  Dean looks back at you and then chuckles a little, "Yeah, looks like." he mumbles.  You raise your eyebrows at him and force the jealous feeling down.  Instead, you hold out your hand and try for a warm smile.  "I'm (YN), the better part of these two idjits." you say, motioning to Sam and Dean. 

"I'm Jo, you must be related to Bobby?" she asks with a grin.  You smile genuinely "Sort of, I'm his adopted daughter." you say quickly.  Sam steps forward swiftly, "Where's Ash?" he asks immediately.  Jo gives him a weird look but then motions behind her, "In his back room." Sam nods at her and then walks past her. "Great." Dean says and then follows Sam, leaving you with Jo.  She waves you over to the bar and gets you a beer.  You take a drink and then set it back on the counter.  "So, you and Dean have met before then?" you ask in what you hope is a casual tone.  Jo glances over her shoulder to where Dean and Sam are disappearing into a back room with a guy who's rocking a mullet. That must be Ash.  You decide mentally.  Jo leans on the counter in front of her,  "Yeah, he came by after my Mom tried to call John.  You know, he's the only hunter that's come through here and not tried to get into my pants?" Jo comments with a smirk.
