"H-H-Hey H-Hazz-Hazza." Louis called from across the car park, skipping over and jumping into the curly boy's arms. Niall quickly ran behind Louis and was making his way to me.
"ZAYNIEE!" The Blonde boy yelled in excitement, giving me a wide grin on my face. He mimicked Louis and jumped into my arms with no warning causing him to topple me over landing on my back and him on top of me.
Our eyes met and I couldn't help but get lost in the ocean that were his eyes, they were magnificent, those eyes seemed to tame my inner beast and I could always control my feelings whenever he is around; I am Bipolar, you see, and Niall somehow manages to drown out all my feelings fulfilling me with happiness when he looks at me. However, it also clouds my mind: Niall is bisexual and has kissed plenty of girls before and I don't think he has ever shown any sign of interest towards me. I remember telling Harry this once and he just slapped me in the back of my head chanting words such as " Idiot" and "Blind, twat" but honestly... He doesn't like me.
Niall and I's relationship is like trying to find your way out of an endless maze: Impossible. We would always get along and I'd drop him subtle hints that I like him and soon after he would go find himself a girlfriend, however, they never lasted more than a week and for those that do exceed that week would never get pass a kiss from a Niall. I recall us playing a game of 'Truth and Dare' over at Louis' and Niall, being the boring best friend, called 'Truth'. I decided to ask him why he was still a virgin when girls were practically handing themselves on a silver plate to him, he blushed furiously right after and turned his gaze towards the floor before quietly muttering out a response. He told us that he was waiting for the "Right person" being bombarded with the sounds of laughter soon after, I remained silent and stared at the boy who's cheeks now resembled a tomato, he soon lifted his head and looked at me wanting to see my reaction. I could remember those eyes glistening under the bedroom light, his tears giving his eyes a glossy look as he tried to push them back. I opened my arms to the poor boy and without hesitation he climbed onto my arms, snuggling his head into my chest silencing the room. The other boys then began a chorus of "awwws" and giggles while Liam scolded me, warning me that my shirt would crease because of how tight Niall was hanging on to it as if his life was depending on it. To be fair, I wished he did, I want to protect Niall wherever he goes and be the one to give him that comfort of feeling safe. We stayed in that position for the rest of the night before we fell asleep in each other's arms.
"Get a room!" I heard a deep voice resonate from behind Niall, who was still on top of me.
"Shut up Liam, It's adorable! I mean they obviously like each other and actually it's so stupid how they don't even realise it, like, how long has this been going on? I mean their love life is like one of those silly but romantic chick-flics but with the obvious part missing: The romance. Have they even kissed yet? Still, they are just so darn cute! KISS HIM NIALL!" I heard a girl's voice speak and could easily recognise it belong to Savannah; the lisp in her voice easily giving away her identity.
Niall blushed a deep shade of red and jumped off me before beginning to chase Savannah around the School Car Park gaining a few glances from passing students and teachers. This normally doesn't bother us, I mean we are the OuTkAsTs of School anyway, every one of us has a disorder which makes us the freaks of school. The bullying we received was actually the reason we met Louis and if it weren't for that Harry wouldn't be so happy right now being with someone he actually cares about. Thanks to each other, Louis' stutter wasn't as bad as it was in the past and Harry fought his Palilalia even harder. They brought out the best in each other and were meant to be together.
The sky, which was a clear blue just a few minutes ago, now grew dark and an ominous darkness seemed to loom over the school before the sky released a loud and menacing growl inclining the start of a thunderstorm. Soon after, pellets of water fell from the sky at an incredible pace beating down on the ground as if it were percussion instrument. Everyone seemed to pick up their pace, that is, everyone but us who stayed and enjoyed the feeling of the rain rushing down our cheeks, soaking our clothes and hair, the air felt heavier as I breathed in as much as I could clearing out my lungs as I exhaled. Niall and Savannah were now rolling on the floor bursting into laughter which were music to my ears, his laugh was so contagious that it would have you laughing in a matter of seconds. If laughter truly is the best cure then his laugh could cure cancer. By now, Harry and Louis were in one of those cliché moments seen in films, caught in a romantic kiss as the rain danced around the pair, Harry's arms entangled around Louis' waist while Lou had his around Harry's neck. A sudden pain hit me in the chest as I had an epiphany: This is something I want to do with Niall but know that it will only ever happen in my dreams, I live in reality though and in reality Niall and I are best friends, nothing more.
