"You got everything you need" My mum asked as she closed the boot of her car which had mine and Liam's suitcase inside.

"Yep, come on, the others are already on their way! Savannah, Liam and I don't want to miss picking the best room to sleep in." I complained, pushing my mother into the driver's seat. Liam didn't like sitting next to someone at such close proximity and so begged to sit in the passenger's seat which we happily gave.

Savannah was talking about the "Exciting things" she has in store for us, I opened my window half open, the wind inviting itself into the car as it danced around my face - my hair remained unchanged, of course. I looked at the countryside scene that we were driving through, it was such an idyllic setting: there were flowers consisting of many different colours which seemed to brighten up the place, it was almost leeching out all your bad thoughts and made you focus on how beautiful life truly can be. The sun was radiating brightly behind the hills on the horizon; the sky was ablaze in the autumn colours the sun presented it with. There were streaks of pink and orange and the clouds looked like red cotton candy. Cotton candy. Niall loved those, he would always beg me to get him some when we went to the Cinema or a fair. I'd always remember him scolding anyone who tried to take some of the candy but he would offer me some from time to time. I let out a sigh and looked at the picturesque field beyond our car; If only Niall and I could get away, live somewhere far away, somewhere like here, he would love to live in such a beautiful place. No beauty can compare to him though, sure this place was beautiful enough on its own but it was missing something, something that could turn this countryside into heaven. It was missing an angel: Niall.

"Zayn, you okay mate?" Savannah asked, placing her hand on mine giving it a comforting squeeze.

"Yeah, I'm good, just thinking." I answered honestly, giving her a knowing look to show her exactly what I was thinking about.

"Hmm... Look out there Zayn, isn't it absolutely beautiful? It's like heaven on earth." She exclaimed in pure awe, staring out at on to the field I had just been observing.

I returned my gaze onto the field but this time I no longer saw the vibrant setting: the flowers were drained from their colours and the sky was on fire, this was no longer heaven. It can't be. Niall IS my heaven, anywhere he goes IS my heaven, as long as he standing beside me. When I'm without him I feel the fires of hell burn my soul, dragging me down into the perpetual darkness of the abyss where I am left to rot, in the dark and cold corners of the shadows. My world loses its light when he's not around. My soul is left to wander the deserted barrens of the world alone, in the darkness, I don't feel human when he isn't here. I am nothing but a ghost, wondering the world looking for its purpose. Although I know exactly what my purpose is: To keep Niall safe, pleasure him, make him happy, show him love every single day of his life and make him realise just how beautiful a creature like him can be.

"We're here." My mother said, from the front of the car. We pulled into a lane leading into the woods, the trees swayed with the wind and as I was about to close my window, A handful of the wind which roared over the layers of the trees slashed across my face, making me retreat deeper into the car, full of shock and quickly closed the window.

"A bit windy isn't it?" I complained, rubbing the palm of my hand against my cheeks, it was ice cold, the wind must have drained all the warmth I had.
