On the 7th of January 2013 I was awaken at 7:00 in the morning by my older sister. It was the first day of term after the Christmas holiday. My two sisters were happy that they were finally 16 but I didn't feel any different.
After my sisters dragged me out of my nice, warm bed we made it down stairs to the living room. Three lots of presents were waiting for us in the living room. My sisters rushed to open their presents where as I didn't really care. So I left mine until after school.
I said hello to my mum when in the kitchen and she had cooked me my favourite birthday breakfast. Which is eggs on toast. Yer you have it whenever but I love it on my birthday and I don't know why.
"Happy 16th Birthday love. I love you. Did you like your presents?!" Mum asked.
"Thanks mum...I love you too. I'm opening them after school. I'm going now bye" I said after finishing my lovely breakfast.
"Bye" I heard my mum shout as I left.
I left the house and made my way to meet my friends. On the way to school they were all shouting happy birthday to me and giving me birthday punches.
"Guys stop it. It is just another day" I said to them.
"Oh come on Leah, stop being to grumpy and enjoy your birthday" Said Natasha.
Natasha is my bestfriend. We meet in year 7. We have been together through the thick and the thin and I wouldn't change the fact that she is my bestfriend for the world.
On the way to school I got a tweet from Harry Styles. Yes I got a tweet from Harry Styles. I screamed so loud that they could hear me from afar. All my friends stopped and gave me a weird look but I didn't care Harry Styles from One Direction had tweeted me.
The tweet said: @Harry_Styles happy 16th birthday to @Leah_May. Have a good day kid.
How does Harry know it is my birthday because I didn't tweet him and ask for a birthday message. So I just let it go. I did answer him saying thanks and I did retweet it. I forget about it and just got on with my school work and enjoyed my birthday with my friends. They even got me a cake and sang to in class and at break and dinner. At dinner they came out with a cake and sang to me in front of all the school but I enjoy it. I had two more lessons then it was home time and I was really happy:-)!.
After my two last lessons I meet up with my friends and got my presents off them and thanked them. What I didn't know was I was being watched and my twitter was going mad.
"What's the matter Leah Bob, you have been quiet all day. Come on tell us what's sup." my friend Jess said to me.
"Oh nothing is wrong with me Jess." I said back.
"It's your birthday and your sisters are talking to a boy. He looks like Harry from One Direction." Jess answered back fast.
"What the hell. He tweeted me saying happy birthday and now he is with Paris and Sydney. What is he doing here." I shouted back at her.
She gave me I'm sorry look but I hugged her and said that it was my fault for having a go at her. After that I walked over to them to see what they were talking about. I really shouldn't have with have with what I heard them say. So I walked in the middle of them and said something I shouldn't have.
