Khaden ran a hand through her hair as she ran through the woods, people now these days would do anything to find a cure for this outbreak. Khaden jumped up and latched onto a tree, pulling her body onto it, looking down, watching as the men ran off, continuing their search for her. She let out a breath and sat there, looking up at the sky, biting her lip. Why? Khaden thought to herself, Why couldn't I have been born normal? Why did I have to be born with this thing that allows me to transform into a wolf... She looked down, rubbing her eyes, she missed her family dearly, minus her father, Ed. She glared at the ground, the thought of his name made her sick to her stomach, Ed was a worthless piece of shit anyway, how could he call himself a man if he laid hands on his children and wife he claims to love? Khaden shook the thought out of her head, No time to waste, Khaden, get down and find your mom and sister. That's your mission now.. Khaden climbed down and ran, she jumped over a log and landed, practically smirking as she was now in her wolf form. She sniffed the air, huffing in frustration, she could only get the scent of corpses. She gagged but ran on, she had to- No, she needed to find her family, she needed to know they were okay.
