Fluorescent Pink
A fascinating site
I couldn't think
The light was too bright

But for only one second
I could savor its beauty
I wouldn't respond
If anyone asked me

It lit up the sky
In heavenly bloom
As I lie
On the bed in my room

My eyes were fixed
On the window pane
Emotions were mixed
Would it happen again?

I could feel the agony
Drenching my soul
Speeding up my heart beat
At the memory I behold

If only I knew
That it would happen again
If only I knew
Exactly when

I would sit on my chair
Next to the window
And endlessly stare
From an arm's length or stone's throw

Please, bless us again
With your amethystine beauty
But until then
There'll be peace and tranquility
