Tbh, I actually get pissed off when people claim themselves as anime fans, yet don't even know the most basic knowledge about anime.
For example:
* saying "I'm an anime fan, too! I read anime and watch manga!"
* knowing less than 5 anime
* not knowing what "baka" means after 5 months
*etc
