Chapter 9

He holds my hand,
"Blake?" I ask wearily
"Jessica!" He smiles at me.
My mother and father burst in. My sister Serenity and my Brother Kole run over.
"Jessy!" They say and hug me.
My mother was told by Lizzy what happened to my chest.
She kisses my head.
"Get better." Kole smiles and Serenity nods in agreement.
"Kole Serenity let's go." My mom smiles and waves goodbye to me. I wave back.
I see Blake is gone.
Nancy walks in.
"Poor thing." She says and Blake returns in wolf form. He jumps on my lap and nuzzles me.
I smile and Nancy grins.
"I hope I'll see you soon." She winks and I blush.
"Blake can we go?" I ask and he nods and takes me to the car still in wolf form.
He shifts and puts his clothes on. He won't talk to me.
"Blake. What happened? I don't remember anything since the visit to the hospital.
"I'm not sure either." He says and I nod understanding.
I think all night.
I get up.
What did he do?
My wolf snarls
Blake is nowhere to be seen.
I run around in my bare feet.
I run down stairs.
I know this pack is know for being evil.
But would it kill them to not make everything black or red!
I can't see!
I stumble on the last step and groan.e
I head for the door.
I hope it's the door...
It clicks open and I see the night sky.
The constellation Sirius is over head and I try to find my mate.
Nowhere.
He is nowhere to be seen.
"Blake?" I whisper.
I familiar voice replies.
"I don't think he is coming back." Lizzy says.
Her white wolf with green eyes lays alone by a tree.
"Tyler rejected me." She says and rush over to her.
"Lizzy. I'll be right back." I say and run to my parents room.
"M-mom?" I whimper
I see her crying into her pillow half-asleep.
"Mom?" I shake her and she hugs me.
"QqqqqMom what happened?!" I panick she wipes away her tears.
"Nightmare again..." She mumbles and stands up
"Lizzy got rejected and Blake has disappeared." My mother dashed outside and I hear my dad. He is sitting in he corner it's his face in his hands.
"Dad?" I ask
"Sweetie? Your mother...again?" He says and I nod.
"I'm such a dick! I scarred her for life." He groans and goes back to bed.
I sigh and look at him
"Dad. I know you don't like him but I need your help to find Blake. You can understand why I need to find him." I whimper and he runs into the bathroom shifts and comes over to me. He puts his ear to my stomach.
"Daaad..." I growl and he stops. He runs down stairs and out the door.
I see my mom talking with Lizzy.
My dad gives up.
"He's gone Jessy." My dad sighs and walks inside. I run to Blake's room.
I see his beta Jackson walk over to me.
"He left."
Jackson says and I whimper.
"Is he coming back?" I ask but he doesn't answer.
"You remind me of Ash." He says.
"Who's that?" I ask and he sits next to me.
"Blake's sister. As for him coming back, I have no idea." Jackson closes th door leaving me alone in the dark of Blake's room.
