Chapter 30

Jessica POV:
We beat Percy two months ago now.
I sigh and I walk Mara to my parents house.
Blake smiles at me and I kiss his cheek.
"And don't worry Mara. Grandma and Grandpa will be there so you have no reason to be scared. But if you feel sad, go to them." I smile and she nods.
"Wokay momma." She giggles and I kiss her head.
Stay safe my pup.
"Mara! Grandbaby!" My mom says and scoops her up.
"Okay, now you guys have fun and you'll see Mara soon." They say and Blake looks at me.
"Is it weird that I feel bad about leaving her?" He frowns and I kiss him.
"Babe. Don't feel bad." I smile and he grins.
We get in the car with our bags and I suddenly feel sad.
Mara is our only child. And we left her!
"Hey Jess?" Blake asks and I nod
"Just think about the hotel." He smirks and I blush.
"Blake. You realize I want this badly right?" I smirk and he nods.
"Me too." He says and rests his hand on my inner thigh.
I purr and fall asleep.
By the time I wake up we are there.
We walk into our room and he pushes me against the wall and smirks.
"I love you." I moan and kiss him

I wake up and remember what we did last night.
I pull my clothes on and Blake isn't anywhere to be seen.
"Blake?" I call and he walks in.
"I miss my baby."
"Me too. But she's fine!" He smiles
"I wish I could mind link her..."
"I know Jess but she'll learn about it, soon. I'm sure of it."
"Yeah... are you sad that I can't have another kid. I mean you can with anyone but-"
"No. You are my mate." He snaps and I nod
"But Alphas always want big families. I can't give you that." I sigh and he pulls me close to him.
"I don't care, I love you." He smiles and I frown
"Can we just go get Mara already?" I whine and he shakes his head, clearly getting annoyed
"We still have half the day, and our lives can't revolve around her." He says and I wail
"I just want to have a baby." I slump down into a chair
"Oh Jess. You're breaking my heart here." He sighs and sits next to me
"Why don't we just do it, who cares if I could possibly...well you know. That's only a possibility-"
"I very very high possibility." He says and I look at him
"I know. There's just one job for Lunas and I can't do it."
"Ok. Ok. Let's go get our little pup." He smiles and I beam
Pup!
We drive over on time to pick her up and she hugs me tight
"I missed you." She squeaks and I smile
"I missed you too sweetheart." I say and we drive home.
Once we arrive I see Lizzy scolding Jackson, her son. Tyler walks over to Blake and scowls
"The rogues are getti-" Tyler begins but then looks at me
"You're walking funny." He smirks and I blush
"Shut. Up." I snap and usher Mara over to play with Jackson
I walk back to Blake and he smiles
"What if we did surrogacy?" I ask and he sighs
"Do you really want that?"
"No. I want to have a baby myself but I can't!" I whimper and he hugs me
"I know." He kisses me head and I let the tears fall
"We had so many almosts before Mara. Know it's always a no..." I wail
Blake POV:
It breaks my heart to see her like this.
Maybe there's a way...
A deal with the goddess?
I look at her
"Go play with the baby we do have." I says nd she nods.
I go for a walk and find Zachariah sitting down playing with flowers.
"Blake! Nice to see you," She smiles sweetly
"Hey, I need to make a deal." I say
"Why not ask Faye?" She furrows her brow
"I need a FAIR deal, it's a sensitive topic as well." I explain and she nods
"So what's the deal?"
"Jess really wants another baby but she can't have another in danger of her health."
"Ok, What will you do for me?"
"WhT do you want?" I muse and she smiles
"I want you to allow your pack to believe in me." She grins and I nod
"Deal." I shake her hand a a blue line spreads towards my house.
I smile and run home to Jessica.
"I feel weird." She wobbles on her feet and I grin like a fool
"What did you do..." she hisses and picks up Mara
"We can have our baby." I breathe and she gapes
"Momma? Are you gonna have a baby?" Mara pouts
"Maybe sweetie." She smiles
Jessica POV:
I can have my baby!
Putting Mara down for her nap and run up to Blake.
"Thank you." I yell repeatedly
He hugs me and smiles
"Love you." He smiles nd I grin
"So can we?" I ask and he chuckles
"Of course angel."
I suddenly flashback to my first heat and I jump back.
"You'll be pumping out pups like crazy."
I start crying and Blake hugs me
"What's wring?"
"Please don't make have more kids than I want." I whimper
"Oh honey, I'm so sorry I was such a tyrant." He breathes and strokes my back
He hugs me and kisses me.

I roll over and beam up at Blake.
"Pregnant?" He yawns and I shrug
"About to find out..." I gulp and rush into the bathroom.
A few minutes later I pass the test to Blake
"Wha?" He cocks his head
"I can't read it. It's just gonna break my heart." I sigh and he kisses my head
"Pregnant." He smiles and I jump on him.
"Pup!" I scream and he clamps his hand over my mouth
"Our actual pup is still sleeping, don't wake her up." He smirks and I smile
"I love you." I grin
"Love you too princess." He whispers

I walk to Mara and she hugs me.
"Hey Mara. So looks like Mommy is gonna have another baby! Is that good?" I say and she grins from ear to ear

I wake up and realise, I was dreaming.
I look at Blake, peacefully as ever and I want to cry.
I scream into my pillow and storm out.
I charge into the forest and scream as loud as possible.
Seeing birds flee I know I've been too loud.
I turn around and see a beautiful girl with flowing brown hair.
"Hey there. I'm Faye."
I see her usual appearance is gone, she looks unkept today.
"I want this pain gone." I say and she nods
"I can relate." She breathes and looks away
"Faye. Do you need to talk?" I ask and she nods
I sit down with her and she starts to explain
"My mate, Tyler, he was my best friend for 18 years. And he's missing, gone. I need him Jess." She cries, her tears a slightly pink colour
I hug her and she smiles
She sticks out her hand and I shake it
"Thank you." She says and disappears
