Chapter 13

Maya's P.O.V.

The sunrays hit my eyes and woke me up I saw Ruby drawing up the curtains. I greeted her with a "GOOD MORNING" and she also greeted me with a "GREAT MORNING" as she sipped her coffee or green tea. I guess. Because those were the only two morning beverages she loved to have. I straight away went in the washroom and had a bath. After ten minutes I came after a long bath and unlocked my I- pad and searched for some good places in Belgium. There were many good places but they were too far from our inn, finally I got a nice place where I could buy my favorite things: accessories and that was an open market where all types of accessories are available. And I also wanted to buy some present for my mother as her birthday was approaching. I discussed today's plan with Ruby she agreed and then I called Johanna

Conversation between Maya and Johanna

Maya: Hey friend, what are you doing? I hope you free

Johanna: Hey Maya, I am free I just came downstairs to have some coffee for me and Grace. Ummm, say what you want?

Maya: Ummm, I and Ruby decided to have some shopping for some accessories so we wanted you and Grace to join us. There is a nice open market it is just at the walking distance from our inn.

Johanna: Yeah, why not I will surely join you guys, in fact I and Grace were deciding to hang out somewhere.

Maya: Great we will see you at the reception. Bye.

I had some coffee and then changed my clothes. I came out of the washroom and saw Ruby still in her PJ's.

"What happened are you not feeling well, you didn't change yet? C'mon Grace and Johanna would be waiting for us. Fasten up."I said.

"Ummm, I am sorry but I can't come with you guys. My head. OH MY GOD. Its paining lot. You see it's so hot outside I am sorry I will not come. Please excuse me." Ruby said.

"I understand, if you want to come then please or have a sleep. I will soon be here. Or shall I stay with you?" I said.

"NO! You people carry-on. I will be fine I will have one tablet and I will be perfectly good. You go and enjoy or you will go late, come late, be tired and will not be able to enjoy the cruise dinner" Ruby said.

"Cruise dinner?" I questioned Ruby.

"YEAH! Zayn called and said that we are going to have a cruise dinner in the night.

"Okay then. Have some medicine and take some rest" I said.

I went downstairs and met Johanna and Grace. Then we all proceeded towards the open market. It was at a walking distance from the hotel. We entered a shop and bought a present for my mother. We literally shopped till we dropped. We were exhausted so we decided to stop at a bakery.

As soon as we sat to have some muffins Grace saw Ruby.

"Is that Ruby?" Grace questioned.

We both turned around and saw Ruby buying coffee and to our surprise Zayn was with her. They both left the coffee shop and Johanna ran after them. Grace followed Johanna. I picked up the muffins from our plates and followed them too.

We followed them as they entered a narrow street. It was too crowded so we couldn't follow them. We just stood right at the beginning of the street. We were not able to follow them in the street because it was too crowded. I and Johanna were eagerly waiting for them to come, but OH GOD! Grace was not able to understand what was happening and was just following us. After five minutes Ruby just came running from the street. She had mixed impressions on her face. We all followed her, she final set to the inn. I and Johanna decided to meet in my room after five-ten minutes. Just then we saw Zayn entering the hotel, with a big genuine grin on his face. Now this just added more flavor to the situation. Johanna and Grace ran to their respective rooms. And I also went to my room. After five minutes, Johanna came to my room. We both sat on a couch and stared Ruby. There was an awkward silence. Johanna broke the silence and said. "How is your headache?" "Better now." Ruby said giving the maximum breaks in those two words.

"That's you went for shopping" I said.

"SHOPPIINNGG!" Ruby said.

"Yeah, we saw you in that open market and that too with Zayn!" Johanna said.

"Johanna, we should stop asking these twisted questions and should come to the main point!"I said.

"Why did you lie to us, and what the hell were you doing with Zayn there in that open market." I said.

"Well!" Ruby said.

"Well?" Johanna and I said in unison.

"Maya while you were changing clothes, I received a call from Zayn. He informed me about the cruise dinner and invited for a shopping!" Ruby said.

"Without even thinking I said him a yes, I didn't mean to hurt that's why lied to you Maya." Ruby said.

"And don't be angry friends, but Zayn....."

"But Zayn?" I and Johanna said.

"But Zayn propose me today!" Ruby said that with a sigh.

"But how can one propose someone just in a first meet." Johanna said.

"No, they met on and ice-cream too!" I said.

"Actually, it's not the second time. I met him a several times. I met him for an ice-cream, coffee, shopping, had a lunch together and many a times for a walk. We actually spend a lot time together" Ruby said.

"What did you say to him when he proposed you?" I said

"I RANN!" Ruby said.
