In life we all have relationships. Whether that be a romantic relationship, a friendship, the bond between family or even the relationship you have with your grocery store cashier. We all have relationships that we can't escape from. With those relationships you may have to do things you don't like.; such as go to dinner with your spouses parents, help a friend out with some chores, help a cousin move or wait a little longer in line because there is an issue with the till. And all you can do is be patient and look at the bright side of things, because right now you are there. Right now you're doing something you may not want to do but it helps you to maintain those connections. It helps you because maybe one day they'll help you when you need it. And it helps you because at the end of the day, you'll have someone and you won't be so alone.

You never know what you have until you clean your room.
It's true. And unfortunately I haven't cleaned my room in probably three months so it's to my sisters room I go for a clean shirt that isn't lame.

I made sure not to turn on the light and to be as quiet as a mouse when going in. She was still sleeping. And I mean, I would be to if I hadn't made these plans with Francis, especially so early in the morning. I went into her closest and slowly moved her other shirts out of the way as I looked for one that would be suitable. I came across a black one with small polka dots of different colours and I pulled it out. I mean, it wasn't all too bad. I'd never worn polka dots before, maybe it would be my thing? I never really got to decide if I wanted to wear that shirt or not because I heard my sister begin to murmur and shift. I grabbed the shirt and left. Quickly I changed into it and grabbed the only cardigan I had before rushing to leave the house.

It was 8:54. I was running late. I climbed into the car, and lit a smoke before rushing over to the Tim Horton's that we had agreed to meet at, which lucky for me was the one closest to my house. I parked at the far back end. For some reason I was really nervous... And scared. Maybe this was a bad idea... Agreeing to meet with Francis, Fisher and this mysterious Jeremy. But either way, I made the plans and I had to go in. I took my time to finish my cigarette, this was my last chance to calm myself down and chill out before going in, so I took it. FUCK. My time to calm down suddenly went away as I looked down at my chest and realized I could see my bra through my shirt. This was the kind of shirt that you needed an under shirt with. Fuck. Me.

I texted Francis letting her know I was here as I walked across the parking lot, pulling my cardigan closer around my body as I entered through the door closest to where I parked, Francis was at the door ready to greet me.

"Jen!" She squealed, sounding like a 90s Popular Cheerleader, even though she was the complete opposite. Hair up to her ears with it all pushed into her face, bleached blonde with an eye brow piercing as well as her entire ear. Dressed in all black and big black boots.

"Francis! Hey." I said, giving her a hug. "Sorry I'm late."

"Oh no, don't worry about it! You aren't late at all. Jeremy just got here."
