Matpat vs. Mr. Darcy

Dinner

Jason was sitting down working quietly on his laptop. "I blame you, Jason," Matthew said looking over at him. Jason gave him a confused look. "What did I do this time?" Jason asked. "Stephanie brought Mr. Darcy over here by pressing some stupid button!". It was obvious that Matthew was very frustrated. Jason continued to work on his laptop. Stephanie was still gazing upon Mr. Darcy. I have to make sure that Stephanie doesn't fall in love with him before he leaves, Matthew thought to himself. Maybe if he did something like Mr. Darcy, he could try a British accent but Stephanie never really seemed to like the accent all that much. He couldn't do the type of dances Mr. Darcy could and he knew he wouldn't look as attractive as Mr. Darcy if he decided to brood. Maybe he could make Stephanie jealous and she would forget all about Mr. Darcy and a fangirl would be perfect solution. He just needed to find one. "I'm going out to get some tea," Matthew said heading towards the door. The only response was came from Skip which was a quiet meow. Matthew grabbed his keys and walked out of the house closing the door behind him. The sun forced him to take his jacket off. Matthew went to the car getting inside. He cranked it up and turned on the AC. Matthew drove around thinking of a place where fangirls could meet him. 

He drove up to an empty park. He got out of his car and walked until he reached the grass. No cars were in the parking lot, no children on the playground, and no people sitting on the benches or standing up. It was perfect. Matthew took out his phone tweeting where he was asking fans to come join him. What if someone decides to kill me before anyone can get here? Matthew thought taking a seat on a bench shaded by trees. The first person had shown up quickly. Matthew watched to see who would come out of the car. It was a girl who looked to be about 27 or 28 years old. She had brown long wavy hair bright blue eyes and freckles. She had on jean shorts, black converses, and a Star Wars tank top on. She look around till she saw Matthew and ran up to him like a child running up a puppy. She had a nice bright smile on her face. She sat down beside Matt. "Hi, I'm Lilly" she said smiling. "Hey Lilly, it's nice to meet you". Lilly squealed . "This is so cool! I'm a big fan". She was actually freaking out a lot more on the inside but she didn't want to seem like one of those crazy fangirls in front of Matt. Matthew smiled. After more people started showing up it would be hard for him to leave. 

"Hey, Lilly, would you mind coming over for dinner? I forgot all about dinner and since you're the first and only person here-" Lilly's enthusiasm got the best of her, "I'd absolutely love to!" she said happily. "Alright then, just follow my car". Lilly nodded with her bright smile. They both walked up to their cars and got in. Matthew drove off first with Lilly behind him. He was thinking about his plan. He was also questioning his morals. He was taking a nice fan and using her to make his wife jealous, which sounds really bad. He drove up to his house with Lilly driving up after him. They both got out and walked up to the door. Matthew opened the door for Lilly . "Thank you,"  Lilly said walking in. "Your welcoming". Matthew walked in behind her. I'm actually in Matpat and Steph's house!! Lilly thought. "Everyone this is Lilly I invited her over for dinner. Jason looked up waving. Lilly smiled and waved back. Stephanie ignored Matthew and Lilly not even noticing they were inside. 

Matthew rolled his eyes at Stephanie and Mr. Darcy, Lilly stood confused, and Jason ignored everything 'working'. "Have a seat at the table Lilly, dinner will be ready soon," Matthew said walking towards the kitchen. "Jason you sit down too". Lilly sat down in one of the chairs nervously but also barely able to contain her excitement. Jason got off his computer and sat at the table sluggishly. Matthew wasn't prepared for dinner but tried to put some food together. He had to make food for at least 4 people, Mr. Darcy didn't need any. Matthew took a salad out of the fridge and put it on a glass plate to make it look more fancy. He started making 4 sandwiches. Luckily, well not that luckily, there's was enough to make 5 sandwiches. Matthew walked out serving everyone their sandwiches with a tiny bowl of salad including some for himself. "I thought we were having pizza. . ." Jason said. "Jason stop whining," Matthew replied. Mr. Darcy looked down at his food and back up at Matthew with a puzzled expression. "What is the name of this dish?" Mr. Darcy asked pointing to his sandwich. "It's a sandwich." Matthew replied.

Mr. Darcy hesitated to eat it but had a very pleased expression on his face after he had swallowed. Stephanie looked like she was studying the wild Mr. Darcy out of his natural habitat. Matthew was sitting beside Lilly but Stephanie didn't even seem to notice Lilly in general. Lilly slowly ate her salad. Stephanie suddenly stopped looking at Mr. Darcy looking around the table. She noticed Lilly this time. "Hello what's your name?" Stephanie asked Lilly warmly. "I'm Lilly, it's nice to meet you in person" She said with her bright smile. "I had already introduced you to her when I walked in with her. . ." Matthew said irritated. "Matthew, I don't have any problem with Lilly being here but why didn't you ask me first?". "are you serious? I'm not the one who brought a fictional character I'm in love with in here!". Jason and Lilly started to get a little uncomfortable eating awkwardly. "Matthew, calm down he only stays for a day, what's wrong with you?!"

"That fictional character is the only thing you've been looking at all day!"

"Do you really think he's a threat or something!?"

"When i see my wife staring at an attractive male like that i do think they're a threat! That's why i invited a girl over here!"

Oops. . . Matthew said too much.

"So you invited a girl over here who obviously looks up to you just so you could make me jealous?"

"I- yes. . ."

Lilly's expression was now miserable. She held back tears. She rose form her chair. "I should probably get going. . . I have things to do anyway. . . thanks. . .". "Lilly I'm sorry, I was just out of sorts I guess". "Yeah, ok, bye guys. . .". Lilly walked out closing the door behind her. "Real smooth Matt, real smooth" Jason said disappointed in Matthew's actions. "I hope you're happy Matthew," Stephanie said leaving the table. Mr. Darcy continued to eat the sandwich, he had been oblivious to the whole table drama situation.

Sorry it took me such a long time i didn't really know what I'd write about next and I was kinda busy too, thanx for reading!
