She had gotten over him, she was ready to move on.

It had been a almost a year since they last texted, but she had finally found someone new.

It was her birthday she was spending it with a new guy. One she really liked he was sweet and funny, he was great in every way.

But then her phone buzzed

"Happy birthday, I miss you"

It was from him, the guy who had left a year ago. He didn't miss her, he was just saying that, right? Did he really miss her as much as she had missed him.

"I love you"

It's a prank or he's drunk, he doesn't love her he can't.

"I never stopped loving you"

He's lying he would have texted if he loved her, he wouldn't have left if he had loved her.

"No you don't, please stop"

"I do, I really do. I know I've made mistakes just give me another chance."

"I can't, I don't love you anymore. I found someone new."

He never texted back, but she was too busy to notice.
