The second bell rang intending that second period is now beginning. I sat back in my chair not saying a word as the teacher walked into the class room. Max and I looked at each other noticing we had a sub.

"I don't like her..." Max said with a scowl on his face. I nodded showing no true emotion.

" I'm getting the vibe too..." I agreed. Just because I'm a vampire and he's a werewolf doesn't mean anything! We can still be friends. I don't like that stereotype. It's like saying black people and white people cant be friends... Yes both of those tick me off...

"Do you see anything wrong or different about her Jamie?" Max asked me.

"Nothing really besides the obvious fact that she isn't showing any skin be sides her left eyes and her right hand!" I muttered.

He shrugged," so they are following us now?" Max asked

I nodded and he and I both sat back in our chairs. I had a smirk on my face and max had an evil grin. I got up and asked the so called "sub" if I could go to the nurse saying I wasn't feeling to well. As I had assumed she was going to assist me to the nurse. She followed me down the hall then she grabbed me shoulder... that is when we both started running I ran and she chased revealing a not so old woman look and more of a lizard except this one was about 5'7'. I pause for a moment and she skidded right past me. I grabbed it's arm and I yanked backwards and as it turned to face me I gave it a big blow with my fist into its reptilian face. "The Elite" had found us once again. Jax's spell must have wore off or something... I walked back into the class room and said that the sun quit her job so we were free from this class. Of course everyone jumped up with glee.

I rolled my right shoulder," man I need to get back into shape..." I said.

"You must always be ready for something like that...heh heh, semper paratus..." he said with a laugh.

I rolled my eyes at his comment. Then a thirty minutes passed and the bell once again rang and I was off to find this girl and or Charlie.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter out of all my books this one is not getting too much credit but I am hoping I can fix that so if there is anything you feel I should fix let me know I want to here from the people who are actually reading this.
