"Umm."
"(Y/n)... I heard it all and I'm sorry for acting like a jerk of a captain. I should've told you everything, it was my duty to inform you instead of making you look like a clueless pigeon being surrounded by wolves, wild dogs, or stuff of that nature." Levi had a weird and a never seen expression.
"Eh, I guess it's fine."
"Alright, so, for now, you're just coming with us. You are to watch, not attack. Put on your gear though, for an emergency. Once you've done that, meet me in the horse stables to find you a horse really quickly. Oh, and tomorrow I'll teach you everything. And in our next call to action, you'll have a part in it."
"Okay, thank you."
"Ah, and also, sorry for laughing at you. And you know how you called me 'Levi?'"
"Yeah. What about it?"
"Try to do it only when it's just us two. Okay?" He stood up, regained his mannerly posture, and walked out of the room.
"Okay Levi." You smiled as you put on the gear and sped out to the stables.
At the stables, you met up with Armin whom was ordered by Levi to help you pick out a horse.
"Hello (Y/n). It's me Armin, not Eren." He joked.
"Yeah, I know..."
"I'm kidding. Stuff like that happens to everyone." He kindly smiled.
"Yeah. So, which one is my horse?"
"Your Captain told me to let you choose whichever one you wanted."
"So I can pick my own?"
"Yep. You can choose whichever of these ten." He pointed to a row of horses. "Come with me I'll give you a little background of each horse then you can choose. Sounds good?"
"Mhm."
Armin first approached a light brown horse. You followed him. "Okay, so this is Butterscotch. He is a calm horse most of the time. He doesn't like his mane being brushed, but he doesn't mind as much if his partner does. He loves apples and drinks a lot of water. He's as loyal as a... a... umm.... um... wolf is to his pack. Or, umm... I don't know... He's loyal nonetheless. Alright, next." Armin pat Butterscotch's head and moved on to a midnight black majestic stallion. "His looks and name describe him. Midnight. That's his name. Next." They walked over a couple of steps and stopped once again in front of a brown and white horse. "Bob, I wouldn't recommend him... He plays a bit too much to ever be serous." He paused and looked at you. "Why so silent?"
"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just trying to see what horse I like the most." You kept an eye over a specific horse.
"Okay then. This is Brave." He picked up a carrot from a container close by and fed it to Brave. "He's probably the only one that hasn't been out if the walls. So I'd be careful with him, you never know how he would react. Other than that, there's not much to say about him. Moving on, this is Me-"
"Armin?" You interrupted him.
"Yes?"
"What about that one?" You pointed at a solid white horse.
"Ah, no. Bad idea (Y/n)."
"Tell me about him." You urged.
"It's a girl..."
"Right, my mistake."
When moving on to that horse, Armin looked down on the floor and refused to look up at the horse. "This is Jewel. She's a beauty. Despite her looks, she is very strong and has a great endurance. But there is one small problem, she doesn't allow anyone to touch her... Which explains why she doesn't have a partner... Well, she used to have one a while ago, but he died and she never allowed someone else ride on her or even make contact her... And that's why I don't want you to even try and get friendly with he- (Y/n)!" Armin was in a shock as he looked up and saw you.
