People were always suprised when they meet Y/N and Stiles, the Stilinski children couldn't be more different if they tried. Where Stiles was sarcastic she was quiet, he could easily hold a conversation but she stumbles over her words ordering pizza, they are the complete oppisite of each other. But maybe that's a good thing, some people can only handle one Stilinski at a time.

Y/N was beyone nervous when Stiles told her she would be coming with him to meet up with a couple of his friends. She's never been very social and never had many friends because of this. The closest friend she had was the neighbor's daughter from across the street, but when they grew up they stopped hanging out and never really spoke to each other again. So when Stiles told her they would be leaving soon scared her. She thought she was done with her brother trying to help her make friends, but that's what she gets for thinking Stiles will stop medling in her life.

"Come on Y/N, you can't stay in your room forever." Stiles stood in her doorway staring at his sister who was blantantly ignoring him. "You also can't ignore me forever." That comment got a pillow thrown at him.

"Stiles, little brother, please just let me enjoy the rest of my summer without you trying to make me friends."

"No. Now get up and come with me."

Y/N rolled her eyes and slowly got up, there really was no point to argue with Stiles anymore he'd just drag her out if he had to.

Sitting in around Derek's loft Y/N didn't realize actually how many people were going to be there. She had barely said anything except a small greeting when they got there; after Stiles introduced her to the Pack she stood against one wall and watched.

"You know, not to be rude or anything but your sister is the complete opposite of you Stiles." Lydia exclaimed looking between the siblings.

That comment wasn't anything Y/N hadn't heard before, all her life everyone would ask her 'why can't you be more your brother?' or 'why don't you go make some friends?'. She'd heard it all from 'friends', stangers, and even her own brother.

"Yeah, sometimes I think she was switched at birth." Stiles chuckled along with the girl next to him. Now that one hurt, he'd never said anything like that before. Stiles had always told her that he couldn't ask for a better sister. He may joke and poke fun, normal sibling stuff; never had one of his comments hurt her like that one did.

Y/N wiped away a stray tear before quietly getting up and walking away. She knew Stiles would come and say something about her not even trying to make friends, that she didn't give them a shot, or that if she gave them some time they'd be her best friends. But Y/N couldn't stand being around that many people who she didn't know well, she couldn't stand the comments Stiles made around them, she couldn't stand it.

"Hey, Stilisnki! Slow down!" Derek yelled. Y/N slowed down but didn't stop completely.

"Your brother is an ass." He exclaimed watching her smile softly.

"I know." She mubbled causing Derek to chuckle when he caught it.

"There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be like Stiles. I actually think that you're better than him." He saw her smile, and with hopes of seeing that again he continued. "You may be quiet and people judge you for it, but I think that they should get to know you."

Derek never thought that there would be a day when he actually wanted to spen more time with a Stillinski, but the short amount of time he'd been around Y/N made him want to get to know her more. He wanted to get to know the girl who hid within herself, who clearly didn't let anyone close to her.
