(Author's notes:

Hey, everyone. I'm sorry that it has been so long. There's been a lot of things happening in my life recently and I haven't had enough storage on my phone to keep Wattpad. I wanted to apologize for abandoning this story and leaving everyone thinking "what the hell just happened?" Anyways, I plan on writing more, but I don't plan on sticking with the anime or manga. I want to create their own backgrounds and add more information; so of course there are things staying true to the anime and manga, but things that aren't.)

(Levi's Pov)

"Levi, Levi!"

What's this? Who's Levi? Where am I? 

I'm in a bright, but fuzzy room. It smells like flowers.. I slowly start to regain my consciousness and a blonde haired girl who looks to be about sixteen is standing in front of me with tears pouring down her face. 

"Levi, I was so scared! You fell out of the tree and didn't come to your senses for a long time."

Oh. So, I must be Levi. Who is she though? 

"Come on you silly goose. Let's get home. I won't tell Mrs. Ackerman. Pinky promise." She flirts.

The young girl grabs my arm and drags me to a village forcing me to run. 

"Susie, Levi! Hurry up, dinner is almost ready!"

I look over at the girl who is still running with the look of determination on her face. Susie.. That must be her. 

By the time we get to the house we're both panting, trying to get every breath we can get. 

"Come on you two. Get inside, it's time to eat. Susie, your mother should be back any minute now." A middle aged woman with dark hair said. 

"Psst. Levi.." Susie whispers. 

I look over at her. 

"Ask if I can eat too. You know how my mother is!" She whispers. 

I don't know how her mother is. I don't even know her. A feeling of sadness creeps over me in a matter of seconds and before I know it...

"Mom, can Susie eat with us too?" I say.

She giggles. "Why, of course Levi. I'll leave you and your little girlfriend alone." She says while making Susie and I a bowl. 

"Mrs. Ackerman! Don't be silly!!" Susie says blushing.

My mother smiles, gives us our bowls, and leaves the room.

"Levi.. She's been hitting me again." Susie raises her shirt to show bruises. 

God.. Nothing, but black and blue. This poor girl. 

It all hit me. Thoughts from the past. This isn't happening in the now. This is from my teenage years. Susie has been my friend since my earliest memories. Her mom is a drunk who beats on her like it's a sport. She refuses to tell anyone because she thinks that God will save her mother. 

A huge rumble shakes the house.

"What was that? I say.

"Levi, Susie, come on let's go." My mother says taking our hands and rushing out the door. 

People are screaming and have already filled the streets. 

"What's going on?" I say.

"TITANS! THEY'VE KNOCKED OVER THE WALL" Someone screams. 

I look behind me and titans are chasing after everyone, scooping them up by the dozens, and eating them. Soon, the streets are becoming less and less populated. Everyone who fell behind was either trampled or eaten. I look over at Susie to see a tired out of breath face. She's panting hardcore and tears are pouring down her face. I look over at my mother and she is the same way. I feel like my legs could give out any minute, but I can't stop. I don't want to die. After ten whole minutes of running my mother collapses. Susie and I stop. 

"Mom?"

She's unresponsive. 

"Mom, get up! We'll be eaten! Get up!" I scream. 

I look up to see the giants getting closer and closer. Destroying our village. 

My mother lifts her head slowly revealing her crying face. 

"Run." She says while coughing. 

Tears start to form in my eyes. I take a deep breath, grab Susie's hand, and run. I run as fast and as far as I can. I don't want to know if she's eaten and I really don't want to see her smashed to death. 

After awhile Susie and I are far from the village. We soon collapse on to a small hill by the second wall and fall asleep. 

I wake up in a bed and sunlight is shining through a window in front of me. I look over to see Susie in another bed next to me. The door opens and a tall overweight man walks through the door. 

"Ah. I see you're awake. You two are very lucky to be alive. We heard what happened to the village North of us. I'm assuming you're form there." He says.

I shake my head yes. That's all I can do at the moment. 

The man smiles and introduces himself as Dr. Hamfield. He brings in a tray of food and medication. I'm told to eat and rest. 

After a couple days Susie and I regain strength. The doctor introduces us both to a new family. Susie gets along with them great, but for me I hate them. 

(Fast forward to a couple years)

Susie and I are out running errands. She's grown up a bit. I think it might be because of everything she's experienced. I have as well, but she shows more emotion than I ever have. 

"Levi, look!" Susie says while pointing at a huge potato.

I laugh. "How much mon-"

"I'll take it!" Susie says to the sales person. She hands over the money and has this look of satisfaction on her face. 

"Susie, wh-"

BOOM

I look behind me to see the next wall crumbling down. Those smiling demons looking down on us and destroying another village, once again. Chaos fills the streets. I take Susie by her hand and she runs with me, gripping onto the potato she just bought. I remember our foster parents telling us about an evacuation boat and it's basically the first 200 to get on leaves and is brought to safety. I head to there. I don't want to lose Susie. She's the only reason I'm still alive. 

"Levi.." 

I look over to see Susie on the verge of passing out. 

"My legs.. I can't"

"Susie, no! Keep running." I start crying. 

Susie lets go of my hand and falls on to the ground. Titans are close. I'm so scared.

"Susie.. Please. Get up. You have to." 

"Just go.. God will save me." She says smiling with tears running down her face. 

I look up to see titans getting even more close. I try to pull Susie so we can make it. We're so close. I can see the boat. 

"Someone help!" I beg. 

No one comes. I look at Susie. Her face is red and dirty, but beautiful. Her blonde hair is down for the first time. I let go of her arm and I run towards the boat. As I get on they start taking off. Buildings collapse and people are screaming.

"Susie... I love you."
