Demitri

I laid back on my, bed tossing my basketball into the air.

"Who the fuck you texting that got you so preoccupied?" I asked Tyler who's nose was all in his phone.

"Rein." He smiled, still looking at his phone.

"You whipped over that braud, and y'all ain't even fuck. Her dumb ass probably can barely comprehend what you're saying."

He locked his phone and looked up at me.

"Why you always have some negative shit to say about her? You have your little secret, so don't try it with her. Remember where you were." He gave me a knowing look.

My jaw clenched, "Don't bring that shit up." I spoke through my gritted teeth.

"I'm just saying, man." He shrugged, going back to his phone.

I can't believe he would bring that up. That's something that no one knows about, but him and my mom.

I don't care what Tyler has going on with that girl. He can't possible be falling for her when he has all these bad females on his line. There's just no logic in what he sees in her.

"What do you see in her? She got a nice body and all, but she's slow." I chuckled.

"Demitri, stop calling her out her name. I see past her condition. She's the type you want to take home to meet your moms." He said, making my eyes go wide.

"You're mom? You never brought a girl to meet your mom." I looked at him like something was wrong with him. Hell, it is something wrong with him.

He shrugged, "It only takes that one person to change you for the better."

This nigga done lost his rabbit ass mind. He clearly on something.

"You just met her last week." I pointed out.

"That doesn't mean I can't like her." He mumbled, typing away on his phone.

"You trippin'. No sane nigga gives up a variety of pussy for just one girl. A dumb one at that." I shook my head at the last part.

"At least she didn't have to repeat a class because of her condition." He said nonchalantly, as if that was okay.

I caught my basketball ball mid air, and sat up on my bed. He just sat there, still looking down at his phone.

"Get out." I pointed at my door, angry at this point.

He looked up at me, "What?"

"You heard me. Get. Out."

"Glad to. See you at the game tonight." He grabbed his stuff and left.

I don't know what it is, but this bitch clearly has his mind all fucked up. Hopefully I don't have to beat his ass in the locker room tonight.

"Come on baby, just read it. At least finish half of it before your game." My mom encouraged me as we sat at the kitchen table doing my english homework.

My fist clenched in my hair. I was starting to get frustrated.

"I can't." I felt my eyes water.
