A girl sat in a dark corner hunched with her knees to her chest and head bobbing up and down as she tried to sleep.  A voice broke her out of her stupor.
"Hey are you okay?" A voice questioned. The girl jumped, looking up she was met with the gaze of a tall brunette.  'how did she get in here?' the girl thought blinking. She shrugged, not trusting her voice. "Where am I?" The brunette questioned looking around.
When she saw a padlocked door yet no windows or any light at all, She turned back to the girl. "What is this place?" She asked slowly. "Were you kidnapped?" The girl in the corner nodded. "How long ago?" The brunette was becoming increasingly more concerned as time passed. The girl coughed and tried to speak. "I-I don't k-know" She stuttered out. "A few months?" She guessed. The brunette was appalled. "Oh my god." She breathed. "Why were you kidnapped?" The girl shrugged. "I've got no clue."
"I'm Allison" the brunette introduced herself. "Lauren" the girl muttered.  "So how old are you?" Allison asked curious. "17 I think..." Lauren trailed off. "You?" Allison thought for a moment. She would've been about 18 or 19 by now but she had lost track. "18" she spoke still thinking about her life. "Listen" Allison said. "I'm going to help you get out of here. I promise." Lauren stared up at her. "Really?" she questioned. "Why? You barely know me." Allison sighed and replied softly. "Because you don't deserve being in here. I don't have to know you to understand that."
Night rolled around. and Allison turned to Lauren. "It's time to go" She said. Lauren stood up. Standing at her full height, she barely reached Allison's nose.  Allison instructed Lauren to close her eyes for a moment and as she did so, slipped through the door to find the key. Slipping back into the room she showed Lauren the key and opened the padlock for the first time in about a week for Lauren. The two girls slipped out of the room, carefully shutting it behind them and sneaked upstairs and out the door. Thankfully the house was surrounded by forest and so the two girls made a dash for the trees. As they hit the tree line, they heard a shout behind them and a loud gunshot. Lauren felt a sudden pain in her side but continued to run as Allison led her through the trees.
Coming to a clearing, they took a quick break and Lauren checked her wound on her side. A bullet from the gun had gotten lodged in her side and if she attempted to pull it out, she could easily bleed to death. Allison turned to her new companion and watched her sadly. "Lauren?" Allison said tentatively. "This is where I have to leave you." Lauren looked up. "What? Allison. No. " She rushed out. "You can't leave me. I don't even know what to do next!" She panicked. "Lauren, you need to relax" Allison said trying to calm her down. "If you walk through the forest, about 5 minutes away, there will be a bike. Keys are in the ignition and its full of gas. If you drive west from here you'll hit a town called Beacon Hills. From there, Find Scott McCall. He'll know what to do. He'll keep you safe. I promise. Just tell him Allison sent you." Allison instructed getting ready to go. Lauren nodded in shock and fear. Allison gave her a quick nod before running off into the forest.
Lauren sighed before starting her long painful trek through the forest. Not long after, she found a black sleek bike and a helmet. She got on the bike and pulled the helmet on. Starting the ignition, she pulled into the road and started the drive to Beacon Hills to find this mysterious Scott McCall.
