chapter 3

Dean's p.o.v.

We finally arrived at the hotel and Katherine was still fast asleep half on me and she was still shaking of fear, I felt so bad for her and now we have to tell her the truth and she will either believe us or think we are complete psychopath and I'm hoping it's the latter. Sam climbed out and came around her side and opened the door reaching out slowly and carefully and took her out of the car and she clung to him, and I couldn't help but feel jealous but i shook it off because well he is my brother. I climbed out and I saw Katherine woke up and is standing next to Sam shivering, obviously cold, i mentally face-palmed, sometimes my brother is an idiot. "are you cold Katherine?" she nodded "yes a little" I took off my Jacket since I rarely get cold and gave it to her which she immediately put on, but it was a bit big on her, she looked so cute in my jacket damn. "I hate to ruin this moment but can we maybe go inside since it is cold out?" Sammy just had to open his mouth "sorry Sam yeah we can go inside" Katherine said being her nice self not wanting to be rude, so we all headed inside and sat down around the little dining table, i got up and grabbed bears for Sammy and I, "can I maybe have one too Dean?" I was shocked I seriously didn't expect that a girl like Katherine was into drinking beer "uhh sure" and I grabbed a third beer and gave them out and sat down, and we all were just looking at each other.

Katherine's p.o.v.

We all sat around the table just looking at each other, but I needed answers. "okay, can someone please explain to me what the hell that thing was and why it was trying to kill me and everyone i am close to?" Sam nodded and started explaining "okay first things first, we are not FBI agents-" "obviously" I chipped in and Dean smirked at my sass. "well we are Hunters and not like killing a deer and mounting it, we hunt supernatural things like ghosts, vampires, wendigo's and there is a whole book well journal on the monsters that our father use to hunt, you can say we are in the family business, the thing that tried to kill you was a Rugaru-" "a Rugaru, what the hell is that?" "The rugaru is the result of a genetic mutation that, when expressed, causes the affected human to experience a murderous, cannibalistic hunger.Outwardly the rugaru can appear human for years, never knowing its true nature, but eventually it becomes consumed with a terrible hunger. During this time, it feeds on any meat it can get its hands on, until it finally gives in to the craving for human flesh, basically anyone can turn into  a Rugaru which has it in their blood but i believe they can be saved as long as they don't feed on human flesh" Dean rolled his eyes "nope  they can't be saved, They're mean, nasty little suckers. Rotted teeth, wormy skin, the works and Sammy here always thinks any monster can be saved because he didn't completely turned into one" "wait what?" "that's another story for a other time, right now we need to find the Rugaru and kill it" I was so shocked, did i believe them or not, I guess there was no other explanation so I chose to believe them. I stood up and went to sit on the bed, taking out a picture of my dad in my pocket and i laid down, clutching the photo  to my chest and i just lay there, but finally I stood up, put the photo back "can I take a shower?" "sure there are towels in there" "thanks" and i headed into the bathroom to shower.

Sam's p.o.v.

"Dean it looks like she believes us so far, but I didn't want to tell her that, when she hugged me i took a good look at the Rugaru and it was her Mom, she said she didn't get a good look when she ran but when i saw it standing there it was a woman but she looked normal, dean i think we may have a problem on our hands, have you ever heard of a shape-shifting Rugaru?" Dean looked shocked "but how did you know it was her mom?" "when we walked in I saw a picture of her and her mom" "wait she can't know, i mean like yeah your mom is the Rugaru and we have to set her on fire and kill her, yeah i bet that conversation will go down excellent" I sat back thinking when Katherine came out wearing Dean's shirt and I swear I saw Dean's eyes almost popped out of his head, she smiled innocently "hope you don't mind but my bag is in the car and i don't want to get it " "no... uh... it.. it's fine" Dean stuttered and I honestly had to hold back a laugh, but I too couldn't keep my eyes off her, I mean she was beautiful, almost Angelic, no hiding that fact(LMAO see what i did there?). 

she climbed into Dean's bed and took off the shirt tossing it over the chair and Dean almost choked on his beer, "guess I am taking the couch" Dean said, "nonsense Dean you can sleep on your bed with me" again Dean almost choked on his beer. "yeah Dean, you can share with Katherine like for one night right?" I said obviously teasing him.

Dean's p.o.v.

Katherine has been teasing me since we left her house and my hormones were sky rocketing but i pushed it back. Being a guy ain't easy especially when you have a hot girl around you. when she said i can share the bed with her, my jeans tightened a bit, "uh yeah sure" she smiled.  I got up took off my shoes and shirt and I saw her looking at my every move,

Almost drooling, and I obviously smirked and when she noticed she got caught, she looked away and blushed. After i was just in my jeans, I turned to Sam "hey Sammy enough research for one night come on get to bed for the love of well anyone who wants their sleep" "yeah yeah" i climbed in the bed with Katherine leaving enough space to not make things 'harder'. Sam started undressing

and I saw Katherine also drooling over his body, god dammit! well she's in my bed so suck it. After he stripped to his jeans, he put the light off and climb into his bed "night Sam" Katherine said and i got red of jealousy but that soon washed over when she laid down facing me, "can i move closer, i am cold?" I nodded and she moved closer and laid on my chest entangling her leg between mine "I know i am pushing it but can you maybe hold me?" i nodded and slowly wrapped my arm around her and she gave a sigh of comfort and I smiled "Dean?" "yeah Katherine?" "please you can call me Kat for short and i wanted to thank you for saving me, you and Sam are really good people" "well it is our job" she snuggled closer holding me against her "night Dean" "night kat".
