"You're such an asshole." I argue, pulling my jacket on and zipping it up.

He plopped himself down on the couch and lifted his feet on top of the table, over lapping the right over the left. Ryan lifted his eyes to look at me as he sipped on his whiskey.

"I'm sorry you feel that way." He said in a low voice, almost like he didn't want me to hear him at all. "But can you blame me?"

I glared at him and he kept a straight face, holding the rim of his glass to his perfect lips.

"You can't have people thrown out of a public place just because they were taking pictures."

"They were taking pictures of me." He says. I roll my eyes.

"That's what happens when you're a celebrity." I grab my phone from the coffee table and Ryan sits up, moving his feet onto the floor.

"You're leaving?" He asks, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yes, I have classes tomorrow." I turn to walk toward the door and I'm suddenly being pulled back. "Ryan, I have to go."

He pulls me all the way back to the couch and sits down with me in his lap.

"And you weren't even going to say bye." He does a tsk noise and I can't help but laugh.

"Why would I want to say bye to someone who's mean to people?" I turn myself in his lap to face him and he smiles softly. Ryan has his hands resting on my waist and I wrap mine around his neck. "You're an ass."

"So I've been told." He grins and leans in to kiss me, but I move my head to the side. "Now you're the ass. I can't kiss you?" He pouts.

"If you kiss me, we both know what it's going to lead to and as much as I'd love to have sex with you tonight, I can't."

"And why not?"

"Because we won't stop until the sun comes up and I need to get to bed early tonight for classes tomorrow." Ryan groans and throws his head on the back of the couch.

"You're no fun." He complains. I smile and lean in to kiss his jaw before removing myself from him lap. "Call me tomorrow when you get home."

"I will." I smile at him one more time before I finally leave his place and go home.

Let's go on a date tonight :*

I read the text over and over at least a hundred times and I feel my stomach flutter as I smile to myself.

"What's got you so happy?" A voice asks. I look up and see Ryan standing next to me.

"What are you doing here?" I instantly wrap my free arm around his neck and hug him.

"I was bored. My conference meetings got canceled today." He stated. I hummed and we started to walk together, his arm around me and his hand on my waist. People were staring at us, whispering things to each other and I felt really self conscious. "What's wrong? You're getting tense."

"Everyone is staring at us." I say quietly.

Ryan leans in so his lips are next to my ear.

"Well that's what happens when you're walking with a celebrity." I look over and lower my eyes at him. He laughs and pulls me closer. "Just ignore them, they're jealous of you."

"Who on earth would ever be jealous of me?" I scoff.

"Obviously everyone who's staring at us. They're jealous because you're with me and they're not. I'd be jealous too if I were them." I sigh and try to block out all the eyes on me. "Are you done now? With class?"
