 ~Emma~

Annabeth walked away from the big house and I struggled to keep up. "HEY!" I yelled "I CANT KEEP UP!" She turned around and look surprised. "Oh yeah sorry." She said "I just get carried away, I haven't had a project to work on in so long!" she exclaimed. 

All of the sudden a boy came towards us in the distance. He had black hair and green dazzling eyes and was very well built and like Annabeth he also was wearing a orange camp half-blood T-shirt. Annabeth ran over to him and embraced him tightly. "Percy!" She said "I missed you so much!" and I slowly walked over to them. "Yeah I'm here." He laughed. "Who's this." He asked her. "I'm Emma." I said. "Oh and who's your mother or father? godly parent I mean." He asked me. I stared at him blankly. Who was my godly parent, and why haven't they claimed me yet? Annabeth whispered something in Percy's ear and his faced changed. "Oh I see then." He said finally said after Annabteh stopped whispering with him.

 "meet me at 7:00 tonight." he said to me  "I want to show you something."

Later that day

Percy told me to meet him near the lake at 7:00 after dinner. As I approach the lake I see Percy, Annabeth and some others at the beach. I instantly became nervous, what was going to happen. Now that I'm on the beach surrounded by people I don't know

. A guy came up to me and shook my hand. "Hey I'm Leo." He said. He had messy brown hair and extraordinary brown eyes. The next person stood up. "I'm Piper." She said. She was a beautiful girl and even being present with her made me want shrink back, she was almost too beautiful to explain. with her intense green eyes and long brown hair. She was perfect in every way imaginable. Annabeth was there too. She said hello to me also.

But in the back of the group was a tall and slender kid with jet black hair and deep and sad brown eyes impossible to ignore. He was sitting alone the sea line slouching and ignoring everyone else, everyone else ignored him to. The kid looked at peace and i though i would go say hi so i walked over to him.

"Hey my names Emma." I said to him. "I know." He says. his face is unreadable. "What do you mean you know?" I ask confused. I've never seen this kid before how could he know my name already? "You're the talk of the entire camp." He says. 

Then he rips his gaze off the water and stares at me. "Can you really do what everyone says you can?" He asked me. But i didn't know how to respond to that. What did people say i could do and why was I the talk of the camp. Couldn't other people do the same?

Percy came over just in time before i waited too long to answer the kid. "Come on we are going to show you something." Percy said "Come on."

I stood up. "Hey." The kid called. "My names Nico."

"well Nico." I said. "we better get a move on they look like they are all going to  burst." I laughed, Nico didn't but he showed the faintest hint of a smile that i could barely tell it was there. So we walked over. They all stood in a line, Percy, Piper Leo and Nico. 

Percy walked over to the lake and motioned for me to come over. "Wanna see something cool?" He asked. "We are all going to show you that we are just like you with powers you shouldn't be afraid of, and you will be spending some time with us also. He shot a glance over to Annabeth then back to me. "You ready?" He asked and when i nodded he raised his hands.
