More Than A Pet ( A One Direction Hybrid Fanfic )

Chapter 1 - The awakening

Angela's POV

I groan in frustration as I flutter my eyes open to find trees all around my motionless breathing body. Then it hit me, last night we were hiking with my sister and cousins to find a good camping spot. I ran over to where the camp was supposed to be, nothing was there, except a different note on the ground: Angela, sorry but we're gonna have to leave you in the forest, look in the lake near you to see why.

- Your cousins and sister.

At this point tears brimmed my eyes, I ran to the lake with my hands on my ears. But then I felt something, I had no ears, I continued running to the lake when a look of shock erupted on my face. On top of my head were the ears of a red fox, I gasped and ended up bawling my eyes out for 10 minutes. After I stopped I immediately felt something touch me on the tip of my tail bone, I turned around and put my hand over my mouth in shock. A red fox tail erupted from a hole in my dirty jeans, I screamed in panic and took off into the forest. Boy was my life gonna be different from here on.

20 mins later

Okay, I got one thing to say, red foxes are my fave animal, sure, but making nature turn you into a hybrid? Not so fun. " UGHH SO HUNGRY. " I groaned. Just then an idea popped into my head. If I imagine a red fox, will I turn into one? The idea ran through my head a couple times before I imagined the adorable animal. Then I felt excruciating pain in my body, I tried to scream but it felt like I was unable to do anything. I watched as the world began to become smaller every second but then the pain and shrinking stopped. " Well that wasn't so hard was it Ange-WHOAH!! " Screaming I fell on my paws and face planted in the dirt. Fun! ( note the sarcasm btw A/N I lose my clothes and glasses after the transformation in the story ) Just then I see a bunny near the lake. FOOD!! As I run after the bunny it runs off, making it a wild goose chase. When I get near it I catch it using my long canine muzzle, as I catch it I start eating it. Did I mention my eyesight became better? No? Ok.

Roy's POV ( guy from the hybrid pound )

I approach the familiar woods in search of hybrids as the trees tower over me. Then I hear screaming and crying and run to the source of the sound to find a red fox hybrid, the only red fox hybrid in the universe! ( sorry for my selfishness :( ) As I slowly approach her I take out a cage only to find her turn into a fox while screaming and crying. She then stares at a rabbit and chases after it, me following suit. Then she comes to a stop and eats the rabbit as she swiftly catches it. I quickly slam the cage on the hybrid as it quietly yelps after.

Angela's POV

As I drop my rabbit I look up to see a red haired man with blue eyes. He looked like he was in his early twenties, I growl in anger as he locks me in the cage. " Oh my boss will sell you for millions- no billions!! " I hear him evilly chuckle as he carries me somewhere.

45 mins later

As we enter an old building full of howling, whining and growling hybrids I realize what this place is: a pound I thought to myself. I shuddered at the thought as the guy slams me into a larger cage and I almost break my ribs, thankfully I didn't. Oh I really hope I get out soon.

Liam's POV ( harry's my fav but Liam's perfect for the story soo... )

I laugh as I watch Watson roll around the carpet, then I hear Cheryl call me from the kitchen. " Liam! Can I talk to you for a sec? " She says, " Coming! " I call back. As I stand up I walk over to Watson and rub his belly before I get up and walk to see a smiling Cheryl standing at the counter. " Liam I don't know if I can put this in words um... can we save a hybrid from the... um... p-pound? So Watson won't be lonely when we're not with him? " She asks, I kiss her cheek as I smile, " Darling, that's the sweetest idea, we can go now. " I say, she instantly jumped on me and squeezed me. " Thanks so much! " She squeals, I put her down and we hurried to get ready. " Watson, stay here, we're getting you a friend. " I smile at my dog as he tilts his head in confusion. I then called a nanny to take care of the baby for a little while. Boy was this gonna be a long day.
