No Excuses

Aria's POV

As I watched my parents walk away my uncle Brody hugged my aunt Chrissy, Justin hugged Emily, Lily and Daisy hugged their parents, and Charlie hugged my uncles Storme and Thunder. I raised an eyebrow at them confused. They just walked over and waved goodbye at the ones who were just hugged.

"You guys are staying?" I asked them all.

" Well yeah we may not be able to take you from your mate...."

"...but we sure can stay and keep an eye on you guys." The twins said and Charlie just laughed.

"Plus we're here to make sure he doesn't hurt our little Princess." My uncle Justin said glaring at Luke.

"You two go with your mates and everyone else. I will be well protected."

"If you say so but any trouble mind-link one of us and we'll come running." Brody told me and I shook my head as they ran to catch-up. As soon as I heard the car drive away I whipped around.

"The only reason I let you touch me is because my parents were here! You had no right to put a collar on me!" I yelled at Luke his eyes darkened and he picked me up by the neck.

"Listen here princess you may be my mate but that does not mean I HAVE to accept it! I will not be disrespected!" I glared at him as my friends started growling behind us. As Charlie was about to step forward I spoke up.

"Put me down NOW before the pups see!" Luke's eyes softened at the mention of the pups and he set me down. I gasped for air as Charlie ran over and helped me stand.

"Are you ok?" Charlie asked me and I nodded.

"Let's go find our rooms you guys." Everyone nodded and we walked inside leaving Luke standing there. As we walked up the stairs to the second floor Tyler ran up behind me.

"Sooooo?"

"So what?" I asked him confused.

"So what's with the mate?"

"So far he's a douche, an alpha, I guess father, and I do not like him."

"Snap well need me to rough him up a bit?" I thought about it for a second before answering.

"No I can handle him." We got to the second floor and everyone picked out an empty room. Except for me since before I could Jasper dragged me away. He led me up another flight of stairs and stopped at the top.

"This is the Alpha's floor. You don't need to stay in the same room but you do need to stay on the same floor." I looked at him my eyes changing to a bright green challenging him. He let his eyes change to their wolf's color which is bright orange and accepted the challenge. We glared at each other waiting for the other to back down. Though my parents adopted him he was raised as a prince and gave off as much power as I did maybe even a little more. Jasper was a pretty threatening guy too. He stood at a towering 6'1" way taller than my 5'2" frame and he was bulky from all his training as a pup. He continuously trained when mom and dad told him he was gonna have a little sister because he wanted to protect me. His black hair was dangling in his face and he had no intent on moving it.

Seeing I wasn't gonna back down he started stalking towards me. I backed up a little bit and then stopped and glared harder. His eyes shown a brighter orange and I finally caved in.

"Fine...but the pups sleep on this floor too." He sighed and nodded then went down the stairs. We need to have a little heart to heart my brother and I. I walked into a random room and saw a king-sized bed pushed against the farthest wall with a dresser against the wall to the left. After seeing the room was uninhabited I started to put the clothes my parents brought me away. Now this isn't a castle but hey its not a bad size.
