August's POV

We were sitting in the waiting room for a good 7 hours now. It was 9pm and all we needed to know if she was okay. Her father ended up getting away right before I could call the police. I felt bad after inviting him over, I thought he changed. Me, Adrian, Devin and the babies were just waiting. Adrian was red as hell and Devin eyes were red and puffy. I just sighed and got up pacing.

"August just calm down..." Adrian said softly.

"I can't! They taking too long to give us results, I swea' if he killed her I'm killing him my damn self" I raised my voice.

"It's gone be alright man, Kayla's good. You know she's strong.." Devin stood up and pulled me back down to my seat. I tried to calm down by shaking my leg.

"Alsina?" I heard a nurse say.

We all quickly looked up at her and we stood up. The nurse just stared at us and we've all waited.

"Sooo?" Adrian said while holding Leon and Devin held London.

"Well, sadly, Kayla ended up dying. She was dead for 5 hours. But, we actually got her to wake up." The nurse explained.

I smiled and I nodded my head.

"So how's she doing?" Devin asked.

"She's doing perfectly fine, but she was actually pregnant and the baby didn't make it" She said.

My face scrunched up then Adrian and Devin looked at me quickly.

"She was pregnant?!" Adrian asked with her eyes wide open.

I shrugged and threw my hands up "I didn't even know!"

Devin had his brow raised and looked at the nurse. "How far long was she?" He asked.

"It seemed like she was a good 3 months" The nurse said and looked confused since everyone else was.

I was upset and I just shook my head. It would have been nice if me and her had a baby together. It killed me to find out my baby didn't even make it, and the fact that I didn't even know she was pregnant. I just walked away while Adrian and Devin was talking to the nurse. I just sighed and covered my face with my hand.

"You Ight?" Adrian asked and sat down next to me.

I just shook my head and I felt like eyes getting watery. I didn't really want to show them that I was upset, but this is the 2nd time that something happened with a baby and it dealt with me. Adrian just rubbed my back while I shed a few tears.

Kayla's POV

I was gone and I had no worries about it. Where I was. It was bright and white. Angels everywhere I went. Was I in Heaven? There were no worries, everyone seemed so.....happy. No one sad, no one mad, nothing but happiness. I walked slowly and ended up seeing a beautiful lady. She looked like...me. Standing next to her was ....Damion. I smiled and I walked over really fast. They both looked at me and smiled.

"I'm here guys..." I spoke.

They didn't even say anything but smile. I hugged them so tight I didn't even want to let go. This felt so...real. I pulled away and looked at them. They were still standing there smiling, that's all I needed to see.

"I missed you guys" I said.

"We missed you too honey" My mama touched my face and I felt like I want to cry. A tear fell from my eye, I tried to wipe it away but it was already gone.

"There's no crying in a place of happiness baby." She said.

My brother still stood there, smiling. I missed him to death. I didn't even want to leave. I wanted to stay there forever and be here with my mama and brother.
