Kaze

"What do you mean they're gone?" I asked, trying to not freak out. "Did they run out or something?"

"No! They disappeared! Like smoke and mirrors with a big flash!" The manager explained while clawing at the air.

"I sense teleportation magic at work here." Lippy said.

I nodded in agreement. "What were they doing before they disappeared?"

"They wanted to try on the rings." The manager said.

That's all I needed to hear. I strapped my two katanas to my belt and my throwing knives to my wrists where I could grab them easily. And with my Hero Stone swinging on my neck, I spun on my heel and ran out of the chapel.

"Great Savior!" Lippy called, flying after me. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going to rescue them" I snapped back. "I first have to talk to the shopkeep of the ring store!"

"Wait, Great Savior! Calm down a moment!" Lippy pleaded, tugging on my sleeve.

"No!" I shook him off. "Those girls could be in a lot of trouble right now! I don't think they are even armed! Who knows what they are going through right now!'

Sarah

After the white was gone from my vision, I was standing in a large hall with no windows, candles lining the hallway, and stone statues along the side. I looked down as the ring on my finger burst.

"Where are we?" Pasca asked, announcing the triplets were with me.

"We put on the rings..." Erhart said.

"And then we ended up here." Grassvalley finished.

We glanced around the hall. It seemed to stretch on forever each way.

"We should try to find a way out." I suggested, picking a random direction.

There were no complaints from the triplets as we cautiously made our way down the hall. I felt so stupid. I should have had more caution and strapped at left and knife to my person. Instead, I was playing dress up. Kaze was right to be worried.

"Sarah!" Erhart yelled, snapping me out of my daze and stopping me from crashing into and door. "Geez, you must have really been spaced out. I called your name like ten times."

Pasca and Grassvalley mischievously looked at each other before singing. "Kaaaaazzzzeeeee."

I rolled my eyes. "Yah, yah. Laugh it up. Let's just get out of here now."

I tried the door, but it wouldn't budge. I tried kicking it, and ended up breaking the heel on my shoe. The triplets and I even tried blowing it down with a spell, but magic wasn't my strong suit and the spell ended up blowing up a statue.

"Just give up." Came a raspy voice. The door creaked open, revealing a very scary, very red, skeleton. "There is no way out."

We screamed, scrambling ten feet back. The triplets pushed me forward and used me as a.meat shield. Thanks, girls...

The skeleton bowed low at the waist. "My name is Stewart. I am a servant at this castle."

"Were you the one who summoned us here?" I asked, leveling a finger at him.

Stewart shook his head, making his bones rattle. "My master did. I'm just the messenger, here to tell you that you shall be the bride of my master Flint."

I snickered at the name. "What, is Flint another skeleton?"

"I don't see what's so funny." Came another raspy voice from behind us.
