Dal's Pov
So we finally moved into the house and everything is settled in and thank god cause I've never carried so many goddam boxes in my life. The boys are goofin around down in the basement and Cherry is fixing up the place. Cherry has been decoratin shit since we came in and I must say its pretty freakin adorable. I wonder how things are gonna be in this new place. I went to where Cherry was and she was trying to put a picture frame on the wall but she couldn't reach
Cherry's Pov
Well shit I'm too short to reach the fucking wall and I wanna get this picture of me and dal on the wall. I almost had it but when I finally reached I fell  and I heard someone behind me start laughing hysterically
"Aw baby you need some help?"- dal barley got out since he was laughing so hard and he came and just as he was about to stick the frame on the wall he stopped and stared at it
Dal's Pov
I saw the picture It was a polaroid that PonyBoy had took of me and my baby girl laughing with each other. I love that Cherry isn't your typical gal. She's the type of girl that you can have a laugh with as if she's your pal. She doesn't act stuck up or ask to leave the party just cause she's bored. She finds a way to chat with anyone which is why I couldn't love her any less.
I turned my attention back to Cherry
"Let's do something"-I said
"Ok where we gonna go?"-she said
"I was thinking we could check out one of the bars near us?"-I said
"Cool what time?"-she asked
"Well I was thinking now it's already 10:00pm"-I said while laughing
"WHAT?! I've been decorating from the morning till now?"-she exclaimed
"Yeah I was gonna tell you to take a break but you looked really focused and plus you look sexy decorating the house"-I said while grinning
"Oh really? Well let me run up and get ready"-she said while giving me a kiss
She went to pull away but I grabbed her and kissed her passionately
She pulled away and said "if you keep doing that were never gonna leave-while laughing
She ran up stairs to change
I heard her coming down the stairs and I did a double take. She looked HOT. She was wearing this black tight dress with a jean jacket. Looks like im not leaving her side tonight cause if someone hits on I swear to god I'll make them regret it
"Um? Babe?"-she said
"Oh yeah sorry"-I said
"Like what you see?"-she said while laughing
"I LOVE what I see"-I said while grabbing her hand and with that we made our way to the bar
We got their and Cherry and I got a booth
I order us some beers and food.
As I went to sit I saw one of my old pals from jail.
"I'll be right back that's one of my old pals from jail over there"-I said
"Ok Ill be at the Jukebox"-she replied
Cherry's POV
I went over to the jukebox and for some reason I felt uncomfortable as if someone was watching me so with the corner of my eye I looked and my heart dropped it was Bob. I quickly went back to the booth and as I was going to sit someone grabbed me and pushed me into the bathroom. I looked and it was Bob and he reaked of alcohol.
"GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF OF ME"-I yelled
"Baby you thought you were gonna just run off with some shitbag? I got you now and I'm gonna do what ever I want to you? And your little greaser isn't going to do shit!!-Bob slurred
He started grabbing me roughly and ripped up my dress and I fought back
"Fucking stop you fuck"-I cried out
He only got rougher and I screamed as loud as I  could before he covered my mouth with his hands.
All I could do was cry in frustration....
I heard the door bust open and it was Dal.
"YOUR A FUCKING DEAD MAN"-dal screamed
Bob swung at his face and hit dally in the eye. But than Dal grabbed him punched him to the floor kicked him and than banged his head on the sink. There was lots of blood and Dal just kept on fighting I pulled him away
"BABY LETS GO HOME PLEASE DAL"- I cried
He finally stopped hitting Bob.
I checked to see if he was still bleeding and he was.
We got in the car and I couldn't stop crying Dal was pale in the face and he looked sick.
"Baby I swear to god I'm gonna kill him"-Dal kept repeating over and over
I hugged him and then something I never expected to happen happened. Dal had tears in his eyes
"Baby I'm sorry I should have left you I just-" he said but then I cut him off
"Baby it's not your fault it's not like we knew that was going to happen"-I said while kissing his face
"Are you hurt anywhere?"-he asked
"No..."-I said
Dal's face just was pale, and he had some speculation in him, but he just left it alone...
When we got home the boys were In the living room and froze when they saw us
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?'"-everyone said
"I'll tell you guys tomorrow"-dal said while grabbing me hand and taking me upstairs
He undressed me and we got in the bath together.
He started leaving kisses on my back
Dal's POV
I'm leaving kisses on
Cherries back and I can't help but think about what she just went through and how scared she must have been. As much as I dreaded asking this question I knew I had to
"Um baby did um yunno did Bob-"-I tried to say but she cut me off  which i am glad about cause that must make her so uncomfortable and said
"No he didn't get to really do much so no I wasn't like raped of that's what you are asking "-she said softly and then kissing me
But then I realized something had been on her mind because she has seemed distracted lately even when she was decorating you can tell she's thinking about a lot.
"What's been on your mind lately?"-I said while placing my neck on her shoulder
"Nothing why?"-she said quickly
"Babe...I know when your lying...please talk to me"-I said to her
She was quite for a moment
Cherry's Pov
I was dumb to think Dal wouldn't notice. But how do I tell him without scarring him away. I finally answered
"I haven't gotten my period yet  and I was supposed to get it 2 weeks ago ..."- I said while looking down
"So...um...this means you might be pregnant..."-he said while stuttering
"It could I don't know for sure but I bought a test I'm gonna take it in a few minutes"-I said
"That's what you were scared to tell me?"-he said
"I mean...I didn't want you to be upset or-"-he cut me off
"Baby girl why would I get mad. When we don't use protection Im well aware of what can happen. We make that choice. Don't ever be scared to tell me anything"-he said soothingly
We got out the bath and he left me so I could take the test. I did what I had to do and I waited for the results
After the time was up I checked the results were...
