We sat in the living room just staring at each other, me on the other hand I was wondering who she was.
"You gonna speak ?" I asked kind of harsh
"I'm sure the people you were staying with didn't tell you about me, of course, they wouldn't have but I'm Laura Williams, your biological mother," she said
"Wha-what ?" This was to much to process
"After I gave birth to you, somehow the nurses switched me and the other lady names up and told me you had died when they were running tests but it was all a mix up " she spoke " I've been looking for you for 2years "she cried
"I'll go check on Nasia "Shawn said getting up . I can't believe all this time my mother wasn't my real mother.
"So where's my dad ?" I asked
"He was a shitty ass person ,he wasn't ready for kids so he up and left me alone but I didn't need him ,I came from an family of money and my parents didn't want me with him but me being the hard headed one I never listened " she spoke "who is nasia ?" She asked after a moment of silence
"My daughter" I smiled
"That's her father ?"
"You can say that " after I told her about my situation And everything she missed we exchanged numbers and decided to get together again
I walked inside the room to see Nasia cuddled up on the side of Shawn
"How did it go ?"he asked with his eyes still closed
"We agreed to meet up again and talk more but I wanna know how she found me ?" I wondered
"Well as long as y'all together, and you finally know the truth but not all the truth but y'all going to talk about it another time, everything should be okay," he said "now come lay down next to daddy " he patted the bed, I grabbed Nasia and laid her down on the other side of me then laid down next to Shawn
"I love you " I smiled kissing his lips
"I love you too " he said
