Daisy, completely exhausted, had fallen asleep in Lincoln's arms. He carefully lay her down in the bed, pulled a blanket over her, and headed back up to the lab. When he got there, Simmons was crying. Mack was by her side, trying to calm her down. Lincoln said quickly, "What's wrong? What happened?" Simmons snapped back, "Daisy murdered Fitz. He's gone. He wanted to help her and she killed him." Lincoln replied calmly, "It's not her fault, Jemma. You know that. She was made to kill everything in sight by whoever did this to her. She didn't want to hurt him." Simmons growled, "You really believe that, don't you. That she can be redeemed. That she didn't like what she did." Lincoln took a deep breath before saying, "There's nothing to be forgiven. Daisy didn't do anything wrong. She was brainwashed, forced to do the bidding of the person that did this. It wasn't her fault." Simmons stormed away, leaving Lincoln and Mack alone in the lab.
