Daisy had been quarantined after Lincoln's death. Now she sat alone, still unsure of what had happened. She only knew one thing- that she had murdered not just one of her best friends, but the man she loved as well.
Since his death, she had refused to eat, and had barely slept. It had been days, and she was deteriorating, both physically and mentally.
Finally, Coulson came in. He said softly, "Daisy. I have some good news for you." She responded coldly, "What is it?" He sighed and said, "I know you're grieving, so I'll let that slide. You're free of the brainwash. No trace of it is left in your head. You can come and go as you please, or return to your room." Daisy snapped, "Why? I don't deserve to be allowed to walk free. I murdered two people who loved me, who just wanted to help me. I killed them both." Coulson responded, "It's not your fault, Daisy. Fitz and Lincoln... They wouldn't want you to blame yourself." She growled, "What good do words do when I'm a ruthless killer? I could kill you, Coulson, if you were wrong, if my... My orders took over again. I could end you in a second." She stood, and the entire building started to shake, the containment module doing nothing to stop her powers. Coulson said quickly, "Calm down, Daisy. You don't want to hurt anyone else." She gasped, "N- no. I- I can't stop it, Coulson. H- help me!" The shaking slowly stopped, but the nightmare was far from over. She had forced her powers inside. She fell to her knees, her body trembling with the force of the vibrations being trapped inside. She looked up at him as blood began to drip from her eyes and nose. She started to cough up blood. Coulson went over to her and tried to calm her, at the same time calling for help. Finally, Daisy passed out. She would never wake again.
