There I stood at the door way before I exited the house. My heart was beating fast and loud it was almost like it was in my ears. As I walked out of the house for the walk to school I looked at the house next-door. As my eyes gazed out Upon the house it looked like no one was living there. Then I thought to myself did I dream her up was I tired. No I saw her she came in to the house for sugar, or did she? I walked quickly down the driveway and down the street. As I walked to school I keep thinking about how weird last night was. She was real and she was pale now it was just a dream I was going crazy...
The walk to school didn't help me at all. I was hoping that my mind would have been free, but all I could do was think of my mystery girl. My so called creature of the night. As I opened the school doors my best friend Grayson Walker yell my name from down the long hallway. " What up Mason." He's been my best friend from the first day of first grade. We've been through so much. " Hay, hay are you there, Maaason" he yells out to me. I walk like one is there, there she is, my creature of the night. My heart was beating fast I could see she was peal but not like last night I wondered to myself how? Then I I yelled out loud,"makeup." " What?" Asked Grayson in a puzzled voice... I almost didn't want to tell him about her but Grayson turned around and in a loud voice said, " who's that?" I said nothing for a short moment. " My neighbor." I said. I wanted to run to my first class but that ment passing her. She still had a glow about her that drew you to her. " Hay Mason introduce me." I looked at him weirdly. " You crazy I don't know her, she's just my neighbor." I said in a shocked voice. crazy that Grayson would even say that a thing like that. He new how shy I was around girls. So he new why I could never ask anyone out, woman or man. But that was just me. when we were in the sixth grade Grayson got me to go to a dance at are middle school, but I just stood there, at the dance I was like an unmoving ant hill. And I was doing that at that moment again. As she moved away from the north hallway I new it was now or never I had to get to home room. I moved slowly, then quickened my pace and made it past her. She if I could help it would never know I go here. Just as I almost get to miss. Roses classroom Grayson yells, " Mason, Mason come here, mason come meet your neighbor." I tried not to hear him but new that would be a lie because he had a voice that carries. I look up then walk over to them, my neighbor and my best friend. " Hay dude, this is Katrina Hassfield .." he said just as red flashed over my face. " Hi, we meet last night." said Katrina in a soft voice. In the day light she was gorgeous with soft intoxicating eyes, the kind you wanna get lost in. she was every boys dream woman and she is what my heart and soul wants. But as I stand here I can almost say nothing, " my name is mason." I pause then add," Yes last night." I stared blankly at her. She did glow in the buildings light. I wandered if people thought she had just tanned of if she looked odd. But to me she looked oddly hot like a model on one of those swimsuit magazine. But I keep that all to myself and new she new how hot she looked. And if I wanted to tell her I wouldn't be able to. My lips would never be able to say such things. I was thankful when the five minute bell rang. I thought to myself saved by the bell. "See you around." said Katrina in a cheery voice. I noticed her teeth were just like every girl her age braces. so if she was a vampire how does she drink blood? That was the question I asked myself as I walked to my home room/ English class. English is my favorite subject because I love to write and my mind my mother once said, was over active.
